Unser Bereich Data & Storage Platforms mit über 25 Mitarbeitenden verantwortet in enger Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Stakeholdern die Weiterentwicklung und den Betrieb der geschäftskritischen Data- und Storage-Infrastruktur. Dabei setzen wir auf modernste Technologien wie Oracle Exadata, PostgreSQL und MS SQL, um eine zuverlässige, innovative und skalierbare Data- und Storage-Landschaft zu gewährleisten. In deiner Rolle als Datenbank-Engineer mit Schwerpunkt Oracle trägst du dazu bei, unsere gesamte Datenbanklandschaft weiterzuentwickeln und ihre Resilienz sowie Leistungsfähigkeit sicherzustellen und gestaltest so aktiv die Zukunft unserer Data- und Storage-Plattformen mit.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Verantworten des Engineerings, Betriebs und der Weiterentwicklung unserer Oracle Exadata Plattform
  • Verantworten des Designs und Engineerings der zentralen Oracle Landschaft
  • Sicherstellen von Performance, Stabilität und Verfügbarkeit der Oracle Datenbanken inklusive Backup- und Recovery-Konzepten
  • Weiterentwickeln der Datenbanklandschaft und Planen sowie Umsetzen von technischen Lifecycle-Vorhaben in Bezug auf Qualität, Zeit und Budget
  • Beraten und Unterstützen interner Anspruchsgruppen zu Architektur, Security, Performance und Betrieb rund um die Datenbankservices
  • Regelmässiges Durchführen von Wartungsarbeiten ausserhalb der Bürozeiten und Leisten von Bereitschaftsdienst

Dein Profil

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium (Uni/FH/HF) in Informatik oder eine gleichwertige Ausbildung mit entsprechender Praxiserfahrung
  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Engineering und Betrieb von Oracle Datenbanken in unternehmenskritischen Umgebungen
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Oracle Exadata, inklusive Konzeption, Betrieb und Performance-Optimierung
  • Sehr gutes Know-how in den Bereichen Dataguard, Backup und Recovery sowie Datenbank- und SQL-Performance-Tuning
  • Hohe Affinität zu Daten- und Plattformtechnologien sowie gutes Verständnis für die Anforderungen interner Anspruchsgruppen wie Applikationsentwicklung oder Data & Analytics
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens Niveau B2)
