Die Dienststelle Informatik (DIIN) erbringt umfassende IT-Dienstleistungen für die Departemente, Gerichte und Schulen des Kantons Luzern. Neben der Beratung zu Fragestellungen der Informatik in den Bereichen Architektur, Sicherheit, Infrastruktur, Projekte und Applikationen und der Bereitstellung von IT-Services betreibt sie die kantonale Informatikinfrastruktur in zwei modernen Rechenzentren und ist für den Aufbau und den Betrieb des komplexen kantonalen Kommunikationsnetzes besorgt. Du hältst das Fundament unserer IT am Laufen und bringst es weiter: Du betreibst und entwickelst die on-Premises Plattform des Kantons Luzern, von der Virtualisierung über die Container-Plattform bis zu den Linux- und Windows-Systemen. Mit Automatisierung, Infrastructure-as-Code und modernem Monitoring machst du unsere Infrastruktur Schritt für Schritt effizienter und setzt gemeinsam mit dem Plattform Team die Standards von morgen.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Für einen stabilen, sicheren und performanten Betrieb unserer on-premises Plattform sorgst du, indem du Systeme überwachst, Störungen im 2nd und 3rd Level Support analysierst und behebst, sowie eine verlässliche Betriebsdokumentation sicherstellst.
  • Unsere Virtualisierungs- und Containerumgebungen mit VMware und Red Hat OpenShift betreibst und entwickelst du weiter, begleitest Migrationen und Erneuerungen und bringst deine Erfahrung beim Ausbau unserer Container-Plattform ein.
  • Wiederkehrende Aufgaben werden durch deinen Automatisierungsfokus effizienter: Mit PowerShell, Ansible/AWX, Terraform oder CI/CD Pipelines standardisierst du Abläufe und entwickelst unsere Infrastruktur konsequent in Richtung Infrastructure-as-Code weiter.
  • Mit einem zeitgemässen Monitoring und einer aussagekräftigen Observability schaffst du Transparenz über den Zustand unserer Plattform, entwickelst Alarme und Dashboards weiter und legst damit die Basis für einen proaktiven und vorausschauenden Betrieb.
  • Im Lifecycle Management der Plattform-Infrastruktur sowie in Projekten des Plattform Teams bringst du deine technische Expertise ein und arbeitest eng mit internen Fachstellen, der IT und Lieferanten zusammen. 

Dein Profil

  • Eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung im Bereich Informatik (Lehre mit Weiterbildung, HF/FH oder gleichwertig), bildet deine fachliche Grundlage. Ergänzend bringst du mehrere Jahre praktische Erfahrung als ICT System Engineer oder Plattform Engineer im Betrieb von on-premises Infrastrukturen mit.
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Virtualisierungstechnologien wie VMware, Proxmox VE oder vergleichbaren Lösungen sowie gute Kenntnisse in Windows Server und Linux.
  • Erfahrung mit Container-Technologien wie Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift oder Docker bringst du idealerweise bereits mit. Ebenso wichtig ist die Bereitschaft, dich in diesem dynamischen Umfeld weiterzuentwickeln und dein Know-how laufend auszubauen.
  • Automatisierung ist für dich kein Selbstzweck, sondern der Weg zu effizienteren und nachhaltigeren Lösungen. Entsprechend verfügst du über Erfahrung mit CI/CD Pipelines, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform oder vergleichbaren Werkzeugen.
  • Eine gewissenhafte, exakte und vorausschauende Arbeitsweise zeichnet dich aus. Du übernimmst Verantwortung für deine Themen, kommunizierst klar mit unterschiedlichen Stakeholdern. Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse und das Verständnis von Schweizerdeutsch runden dein Profil ab.
