* Gestire il Gruppo di ricerca Estensione orticoltura dal punto di vista tecnico e amministrativo (organizzazione, finanze, personale) e assumersi la responsabilità generale di guidare le attività sulla base delle esigenze della pratica e le eccellenze scientifiche del gruppo * Assumersi la responsabilità generale e il ruolo di persona di contatto principale per le domande e la ricerca pratica relative all'orticoltura in campo aperto presso Agroscope; incaricarsi dello sviluppo e della gestione di progetti interdisciplinari con rappresentanti delle divisioni Agroscope interessate e partner esterni * Assumersi la responsabilità dell'acquisizione di progetti e fondi di terzi da programmi competitivi, industria e altri sponsor * Assumersi la responsabilità per lo scambio di conoscenze con la pratica orticola e la consulenza, ulteriori compiti di pubbliche relazioni e la redazione di perizie specifiche di orticoltura rivolte alla pratica, in particolare in materia di protezione dei vegetali * Rappresentare Agroscope in seno a organismi e organizzazioni nazionali e internazionali per creare rete e ampliare le competenze pratiche in materia di orticoltura

* Dottorato in scienze agrarie con specializzazione in produzione vegetale/orticoltura (o formazione analoga) e comprovata esperienza di ricerca in tali settori, idealmente in progetti orientati alla pratica che coinvolgono più attori * Esperienza in pratica orticola o in settori produttivi simili * Ampia rete professionale nel campo della produzione di piante e ortaggi e solide conoscenze delle condizioni quadro della produzione vegetale svizzera * Spiccate doti di leadership, forte spirito di squadra e convincenti capacità comunicative * Ottima conoscenza di due lingue ufficiali e dell'inglese orale e scritto

Cerchiamo una persona con spiccate doti dirigenziali che unisca le proprie competenze scientifiche a un'esperienza agricola concreta e allinei strategicamente la ricerca pratica nell'ambito dell'orticoltura in campo aperto con le priorità del settore, sviluppi soluzioni pratiche concrete, dia risposte a questioni politiche e contribuisca così a rafforzare la coltivazione di ortaggi in Svizzera. È particolarmente apprezzata la presenza di un forte spirito di squadra e la comprovata capacità di gestire efficacemente e su un piano di parità le complesse reti multilingue formate da attori interni ed esterni.
