Das Institut für Intelligente Systeme und Smart Farming (ISF) verbindet anwendungsorientierte Forschung mit industrieller Praxis. Wir entwickeln interdisziplinäre technische Lösungen und bauen unsere Forschungsaktivitäten gemeinsam mit Partnern aus Wirtschaft und Forschung weiter aus. Hierzu suchen wir per sofort oder nach Vereinbarung: Senior Researcher Intelligente Systeme & Smart Farming Sie gestalten die Weiterentwicklung des ISF aktiv mit, bauen eigene Forschungsaktivitäten und Kooperationen auf und bringen komplexe technische Systeme von der Idee bis in die industrielle Anwendung. ###

Ihr Wirkungsfeld

  • Sie akquirieren, bearbeiten und leiten anwendungsorientierte Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekte und entwickeln tragfähige Projektideen und Kooperationsmodelle
  • Sie konzipieren und realisieren interdisziplinäre technische Lösungen an den Schnittstellen von Software, Mechanik, Steuerung und Elektronik
  • Sie bauen eigene Forschungsaktivitäten und perspektivisch eine eigene Forschungsgruppe auf und wirken bei der Erweiterung des ISF im Rahmen der Leistungsvereinbarung mit dem Kanton Thurgau mit
  • Sie gewinnen und betreuen Industrie- und Forschungspartner, erweitern den Kundenkreis und entwickeln neue Dienstleistungen und Seminare
  • Sie übernehmen die Leitung mehrerer Projekte, koordinieren Teams und unterstützen die Institutsführung bei fachlichen und strategischen Aufgaben
  • Sie engagieren sich in der Lehre, betreuen Studierende sowie Projekt- und Abschlussarbeiten und verfassen wissenschaftliche Publikationen, Expertisen und Berichte

Ihre Expertise

  • Masterabschluss einer Universität in Maschinenbau, Produktentwicklung, Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Robotik oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Fachgebiet; Promotion von Vorteil
  • Mehr als 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einem technischen Unternehmen, idealerweise in Systementwicklung, Mechatronik, Automatisierung, Robotik, Embedded Systems, Landmaschinentechnik oder verwandten Bereichen
  • Nachweisliche Erfolge bei der Konzeption, Entwicklung und Umsetzung komplexer interdisziplinärer Systeme sowie ausgeprägtes Systemverständnis
  • Starker Industriehintergrund mit Verständnis für industrielle Prozesse, Anforderungen und Entwicklungszyklen sowie Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit unterschiedlichen Fachdisziplinen und Stakeholdern
  • Erfahrung in Akquisition, Aufbau von Partnerschaften, Entwicklung von Projektideen und Kooperationsmodellen sowie im Projekt- und Teammanagement
  • Hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein, gute Deutsch- und sehr gute Englischkenntnisse sowie die Fähigkeit, komplexe technische Themen adressatengerecht und auf strategischer Ebene zu vertreten
