Senior Scientist Qualitätskontrolle - Analytical Technology (100%) (m/w/d)

In dieser wissenschaftlichen Expertenfunktion unterstützt du unsere Qualitätskontrolllabore bei komplexen analytischen Fragestellungen und trägst aktiv zur Optimierung, Validierung und zum Transfer analytischer Methoden für biologische Arzneimittel bei. Gemeinsam mit interdisziplinären Teams leitest du Studien und Projekte, untersuchst komplexe Methoden- und Performance-Probleme und unterstützt die Einführung neuer analytischer Technologien in einem GMP-regulierten Umfeld.

Kompetenzen und Verantwortlichkeiten

  • Planung, Durchführung und wissenschaftliche Auswertung von Studien und Untersuchungen zur Bearbeitung komplexer analytischer Fragestellungen sowie Sicherstellung einer GMP-konformen Dokumentation.
  • Wissenschaftliche Untersuchung von Abweichungen, atypischen Resultaten und Method-Performance-Problemen, einschliesslich Entwicklung geeigneter Teststrategien und Interpretation analytischer Ergebnisse.
  • Optimierung, Validierung und Transfer analytischer Methoden für biologische Arzneimittel sowie fachliche Begleitung der Methoden über den gesamten analytischen Lifecycle.
  • Unterstützung der Qualitätskontrolllabore als Subject Matter Expert bei komplexen wissenschaftlichen und technischen Fragestellungen sowie bei der nachhaltigen Lösung analytischer Herausforderungen.
  • Identifikation, Evaluation und Einführung neuer analytischer Methoden und Technologien sowie aktive Mitarbeit an der kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung unserer Qualitätskontrolle.
  • Erstellung, Überarbeitung und Prüfung von Standardarbeitsanweisungen (SOPs), Prüfanweisungen, Protokollen, Studienplänen und weiterer GMP-relevanter Dokumentation.
  • Leitung und Koordination wissenschaftlicher und technischer Projekte inklusive Planung von Ressourcen, Zeitplänen und Kosten für definierte Aktivitäten und Arbeitspakete.
  • Unterstützung bei regulatorischen Einreichungen, Audits und Behördeninspektionen als wissenschaftliche und technische Fachperson für den jeweiligen Verantwortungsbereich.
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Fachbereichen, externen Laboren und weiteren relevanten Stakeholdern sowie fachliche Unterstützung, Training und Coaching von Kolleg:innen innerhalb von Projekten und analytischen Themengebieten.

Qualifikationen und Berufserfahrung

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Naturwissenschaften, Ingenieurwissenschaften oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Fachrichtung; ein Master- oder Doktoratsabschluss ist von Vorteil. Eine vergleichbare Qualifikation durch umfangreiche relevante Industrieerfahrung ist ebenfalls möglich.
  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der cGMP-regulierten Qualitätskontrolle sowie mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung in der Entwicklung analytischer Methoden für biologische pharmazeutische Produkte.
  • Fundierte Erfahrung in der Optimierung, Validierung und im Transfer analytischer Methoden für den Einsatz in einem GMP-regulierten Umfeld.
  • Erfahrung im Lifecycle Management analytischer Methoden sowie in der Bearbeitung komplexer analytischer und technischer Fragestellungen.
  • Ausgeprägte wissenschaftliche und technische Kenntnisse in einem für die pharmazeutische Qualitätskontrolle relevanten analytischen Fachgebiet.
  • Erfahrung im wissenschaftlichen Projektmanagement beziehungsweise in der eigenständigen Steuerung komplexer Projekt-Deliverables; Erfahrung in der fachlichen Führung innerhalb einer Matrixorganisation ist von Vorteil.
  • Erfahrung in der Schulung, fachlichen Unterstützung oder im Coaching von Kolleg:innen ist von Vorteil.
  • Ausgeprägtes Qualitäts- und Compliance-Bewusstsein sowie fundiertes Verständnis von cGMP, Data Integrity und regulatorischen Anforderungen.
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sowie gute Englischkenntnisse für die Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Stakeholdern und die Erstellung wissenschaftlicher Dokumentationen.
  • Analytische Denkweise, ausgeprägte Problemlösungsfähigkeiten sowie eine strukturierte, selbstständige und pragmatische Arbeitsweise.
  • Hohe Eigeninitiative, Flexibilität und Teamorientierung sowie die Fähigkeit, auch bei wechselnden Anforderungen Prioritäten effektiv anzupassen.

  • Als Teil unseres QCTS-Teams unterstützt du verschiedene Quality-Control-Labore am Standort Bern und arbeitest eng mit Expertinnen und Experten aus unterschiedlichen analytischen Fachgebieten zusammen.
  • Dein Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Lösung komplexer analytischer Herausforderungen sowie der Weiterentwicklung analytischer Methoden über ihren gesamten Lifecycle - von Optimierung und Validierung über Methodentransfer bis zur nachhaltigen Anwendung im QC-Umfeld.
  • Die Position bietet dir die Möglichkeit, neue analytische Technologien zu evaluieren und einzuführen, anspruchsvolle wissenschaftliche Projekte zu übernehmen und dein Fachwissen innerhalb unserer QC-Organisation weiterzugeben.
