Wädenswil ist eine attraktive Stadt am linken Zürichseeufer mit 26'000 Einwohnenden. In der Stadtverwaltung arbeiten rund 380 Mitarbeitende, die für die Bevölkerung täglich umfassende Dienstleistungen erbringen.

Die Dienststelle Soziale Dienste gehört zur Abteilung Soziales und ist mit den Bereichen Sozialhilfe und Erwachsenenschutz zuständig für die Beratung und Betreuung von Menschen mit sozialen und/oder finanziellen Problemen.

Zur Verstärkung für das Team Sozialarbeit Soziale Dienste suchen wir nach Vereinbarung eine engagierte und motivierte Persönlichkeit als

Sozialarbeiterin/Sozialarbeiter, 90 bis 100 %

Arbeitsschwerpunkt Sozialhilfe oder Arbeitsschwerpunkt Erwachsenenschutz – Sie wählen Ihren Schwerpunkt

Zu Ihren Handlungsfeldern gehören im Schwerpunkt Sozialhilfe

  • selbstständige und umfassende Fallführung in der wirtschaftlichen und persönlichen Sozialhilfe nach dem Sozialhilfegesetz sowie der Asylfürsorgeverordnung
  • Beratung und Begleitung von Menschen in schwierigen Lebenssituationen.
  • Förderung und Unterstützung der beruflichen und sozialen Integration
  • administrative Tätigkeiten
  • Mitwirkung in Arbeitsgruppen (bedarfsabhängig)

Zu Ihren Handlungsfeldern gehören im Schwerpunkt Erwachsenenschutz

  • Selbstständige und umfassende Mandatsführung im Bereich Erwachsenenschutz im Auftrag der KESB Horgen
  • Beratung und Begleitung von Menschen in schwierigen Lebenssituationen
  • administrative Tätigkeiten
  • Mitwirkung in Arbeitsgruppen (bedarfsabhängig)

Was Sie mitbringen

  • eine Ausbildung auf Tertiärstufe, vorzugsweise in Sozialer Arbeit, nach Möglichkeit eine Weiterbildung im Bereich Sozialversicherungen oder Rechtswissenschaften
  • grosses Interesse an sozialhilfe\- und sozialversicherungsrechtlichen Fragestellungen oder an der Führung von Erwachsenenschutzmassnahmen
  • administrative Fähigkeiten, gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sowie sicherer Umgang mit Zahlen
  • vernetztes Denken, strukturierte und effiziente Arbeitsweise sowie Belastbarkeit
  • hohe Sozialkompetenz, Empathie, Transparenz und eine ausgeprägte Lösungsorientierung
  • positive Grundhaltung sowie Teamfähigkeit
