Wer wir sind ##

In unserer Sozialabteilung verbinden wir den kommunalen Sozialdienst mit der Schulsozialarbeit der Region Herzogenbuchsee. Bei uns wird es selten langweilig. Unsere Arbeit ist vielseitig und anspruchsvoll.

Was uns besonders wichtig ist: Wir arbeiten miteinander, nicht nebeneinander. Unser Team ist engagiert, hilfsbereit und humorvoll. Wir unterstützen uns, tauschen uns aus und können auch über uns selbst lachen - gerade dann, wenn der Arbeitsalltag wieder einmal etwas mehr fordert.

Seit Dezember 2025 arbeiten wir mit dem neuen Fallführungssystem NFFS des Kantons BE. Noch läuft nicht alles wie am Schnürchen. Wir optimieren und entwickeln, probieren aus, suchen nach Lösungen, die für unsere Fachgebiete nützlich sein müssen. Ihre Ausdauer, Ihre Ideen und Ihr kritischer Blick sind dabei ausdrücklich erwünscht.

Was Sie bei uns tun ##

Ihr Arbeitsalltag ist abwechslungsreich und lässt sich nicht auf einen einzigen Bereich reduzieren. Dazu gehören unter anderem:

  • Mandatsführung und Abklärungen im Kindes- und Erwachsenenschutz
  • Ausrichtung wirtschaftlicher Sozialhilfe nach SKOS-Richtlinien
  • Mitarbeit in Arbeitsgruppen und Projekten - gerne entsprechend Ihren Interessen und Stärken

Was Sie mitbringen ##

Sie haben einen Fachhochschulabschluss in Sozialer Arbeit und unbedingt Erfahrung in der freiwilligen und/oder gesetzlichen Sozialarbeit.

Noch wichtiger ist uns, dass Sie:

  • auch dann einen kühlen Kopf bewahren, wenn es kompliziert wird
  • Veränderungen nicht nur aushalten, sondern mitgestalten möchten
  • über eine hohe Sozialkompetenz und ein sicheres Auftreten verfügen
  • belastbar sind, Zusammenarbeit schätzen, trotz Herausforderungen Ihre Frohnatur behalten.
  • sehr gut Deutsch sprechen und schreiben; weitere Sprachkenntnisse sind ein Plus
