* Garantire la consulenza legale in caso di richieste e il supporto giuridico durante la stesura di prese di posizione e procedure di consultazione * Collaborare all'elaborazione e all'aggiornamento di basi giuridiche (spiegazioni, ordinanze e istruzioni) * Elaborare direttive e istruzioni in materia di diritto militare, legge sulla protezione dei dati e relative all'applicazione della legge sulla trasparenza * Dirigere la pianificazione a livello operativo e l'esecuzione dal profilo tecnico, metodologico e didattico delle istruzioni giuridiche destinate a organi interni, istituti di formazione nel settore Difesa nonché autorità esterne * Redigere e rielaborare la documentazione d'istruzione secondo una prospettiva didattica con il supporto di organi specialistici * Fornire supporto al Servizio specializzato per l'estremismo in seno all'esercito per quanto riguarda la comunicazione, la consulenza a singoli casi e l'adozione di misure

Il Comando Istruzione (Cdo Istr) è responsabile dell'istruzione in seno all'Esercito svizzero -- dal reclutamento all'istruzione di base generale fino all'istruzione dei quadri -- per quanto riguarda la milizia e i militari di professione. Comprende l'Istruzione superiore dei quadri, il Personale dell'esercito, cinque formazioni d'addestramento, il Centro d'istruzione e il Servizio specializzato Donne nell'esercito e diversity. Un terzo dei circa 2350 collaboratori è attivo in professioni civili in ambito scientifico, tecnico, medico, psicologico, amministrativo o sportivo e contribuisce al successo insieme ai militari di professione.

L'Esercito svizzero dà lavoro a oltre 9000 collaboratori nel quadro di quattro professioni militari e circa 200 professioni civili, in 110 ubicazioni su tutto il territorio nazionale. Inoltre provvede alle nuove leve, formando apprendisti in oltre 30 professioni.
