Stadtratssekretärin / Stadtratssekretär (80%) im Anstellungsverhältnis oder im Mandat Die Stadt Langenthal bildet das Zentrum des bernischen Oberaargaus und ist mit rund 16‘400 Einwohnerinnen und Einwohnern die achtgrösste Einwohnergemeinde im Kanton Bern. Die Stadt entwickelt sich als wirtschaftliches, gesellschaftliches und kulturelles Zentrum ständig weiter. Der Stadtrat von Langenthal (Parlament / Legislative) umfasst 40 Mitglieder, die von den Stimmberechtigten alle vier Jahre im Proporzwahlverfahren gewählt werden. Die Stadträtinnen und Stadträte von Langenthal ü ihr Amt im Milizsystem aus. Für sie ist eine kompetente fachliche und administrative Unterstützung von Seiten des Stadtratssekretariats entscheidend. Per 1\. Januar 2027 suchen wir eine kompetente und überzeugende Persönlichkeit als Stadtratssekretärin / Stadtratssekretär (80%) im Anstellungsverhältnis oder im Mandat Das ist Ihr Auftrag Sie leiten das Stadtratssekretariat und sind erste Ansprechperson in Verfahrens\- und Rechtsfragen des Parlaments Sie sorgen für die korrekte Durchführung der Stadtratssitzungen und der Sitzungen der Geschäftsprüfungskommission und weiterer stadträtlicher Kommissionen Sie pflegen den Geschäftsverkehr mit dem Gemeinderatssekretariat und der Verwaltung Sie unterstützen die Präsidentin oder den Präsidenten des Stadtrats, der Geschäftsprüfungskommission und weiterer stadträtlicher Kommissionen und betreuen eigene Projekte des Stadtrats Das bieten wir Ihnen Eine spannende und herausfordernde Aufgabe im Zentrum des Langenthaler Politbetriebs Vielfältige Aufgaben mit Potenzial zur persönlichen Weiterentwicklung Angenehmes und wertschätzendes Arbeitsumfeld Flexibles Arbeitszeitmodell und gute Sozialleistungen Das bringen Sie mit Vorzugsweise abgeschlossene juristische Ausbildung oder vergleichbare, geeignete Ausbildung Affinität für öffentliches Recht und Politik und Erfahrung in der öffentlichen Verwaltung Kompetenz im Umgang mit verschiedensten Anspruchsgruppen, Zugänglichkeit und Belastbarkeit Selbstständigkeit und Strukturiertheit sowie Erfahrung in der Führung von Personal Arbeitsort Verwaltungszentrum Jurastrasse 22 4901 Langenthal Google Maps Eine im Mandat tätige Person muss mindestens einen, idealerweise zwei Tage pro Woche am Arbeitsplatz im Stadtratssekretariat anwesend sein.
