Der Walter Zoo in Gossau SG ist ein wissenschaftlich geführter Zoo, der 1‘000 Tiere aus rund 100 verschiedenen Arten pflegt. Er begeistert jährlich über 275‘000 Besuchende für die Tierwelt und weckt Interesse und Verständnis für ihre Bedürfnisse und den Schutz ihrer Lebensräume. Der Zoo engagiert sich in verschiedenen Artenschutzprojekten und leitet selbst zwei Pflegestationen für einheimische Wildtiere. Sie sind eine erfahrene HR-Generalistin oder ein erfahrener HR-Generalist, arbeiten gerne operativ und möchten den nächsten Schritt in Richtung Führung machen? Dann erwartet Sie bei uns eine vielseitige HR-Funktion mit Verantwortung, Gestaltungsspielraum und spannenden Entwicklungsthemen.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Führung und Koordination des HR-Teams sowie Sicherstellung eines reibungslosen HR-Tagesgeschäfts
  • Verantwortung für die HR-Prozesse entlang des gesamten Employee Life Cycles
  • Verantwortung für die monatliche Lohnverarbeitung für Monats- und Stundenlöhner
  • Bearbeitung und Koordination der Sozialversicherungen sowie von Unfall- und Krankentaggeldfällen
  • Verantwortung für Quellensteuer, Zeitwirtschaft und Absenzenmanagement
  • Beratung und Unterstützung unserer Führungskräfte bei personalrelevanten und arbeitsrechtlichen Fragestellungen
  • Sicherstellung der Einhaltung arbeitsrechtlicher Vorgaben und interner Reglemente
  • Leitung und Mitarbeit in HR-Projekten
  • Mitarbeit bei konzeptionellen und strategischen HR-Themen in Zusammenarbeit mit der Geschäftsleitung
  • Weiterentwicklung, Optimierung und Digitalisierung unserer HR-Prozesse und Instrumente
  • Mitwirkung bei der Weiterentwicklung von Reglementen, Richtlinien und HR-Grundlagen
  • Verantwortung für das HR-Budget sowie Mitwirkung im betrieblichen Versicherungswesen
  • Begleitung und Ausbildung unserer kaufmännischen Lernenden

Was Sie mitbringen

  • Kaufmännische Grundausbildung mit fundierter Weiterbildung im Bereich Human Resources, idealerweise mit HR-Fachausweis
  • Mehrjährige praktische Berufserfahrung als HR Generalist oder in einer vergleichbaren operativen HR-Funktion
  • Sehr gute ABACUS-Kenntnisse
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse und praktische Erfahrung in der Lohnverarbeitung
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse der Schweizer Sozialversicherungen und des Arbeitsrechts
  • Weiterbildung als Payroll Expert oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation ist wünschenswert
  • Hohe Affinität für Digitalisierung und die Weiterentwicklung von HR-Prozessen
  • Stilsicheres Deutsch in Wort und Schrift
  • Selbstständige, strukturierte und exakte Arbeitsweise
  • Hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Diskretion und Dienstleistungsorientierung
  • Ausgeprägte Hands-on-Mentalität und Freude daran, auch selbst operativ mitzuarbeiten
  • Motivation, Führungsverantwortung zu übernehmen und sich in dieser Rolle weiterzuentwickeln
