The posting

Als Tierärztin oder Tierarzt in der Kleintiermedizin übernehmen Sie in einer modernen Tierklinik in der Region Schwyz eine verantwortungsvolle Rolle im Notfall- und Nachtdienst. In einem Pensum von 50 bis 100 % betreuen Sie Notfallpatienten, stabilisieren kritisch erkrankte Tiere und gewährleisten eine hochwertige tiermedizinische Versorgung ausserhalb der regulären Sprechzeiten.

Das erwartet Sie in dieser abwechslungsreichen Aufgabe

  • Erstversorgung, Stabilisation und Überwachung von tiermedizinischen Notfallpatienten während des Nachtdienstes
  • Durchführung von Notfallsprechstunden inklusive Anamnese, Diagnostik und Erstbehandlung
  • Interpretation diagnostischer Untersuchungen wie Blutanalysen, Röntgen, Ultraschall oder Urinuntersuchungen
  • Betreuung und Überwachung stationärer Patienten während der Nacht
  • Dokumentation der Behandlungen sowie Führung der tiermedizinischen Patientenakten
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Tagteam, Tiermedizinischen Praxisassistentinnen und Interns zur Sicherstellung einer optimalen Patientenversorgung

Das bringen Sie mit

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Veterinärmedizin mit Abschluss Master of Veterinary Medicine MVetMed oder gleichwertiger in der Schweiz anerkannter Abschluss
  • Idealerweise Berufserfahrung in der Kleintiermedizin oder im tiermedizinischen Notfalldienst
  • Selbstständige Arbeitsweise sowie sichere Entscheidungsfähigkeit in akuten Situationen
  • Gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

  • Empathischer Umgang mit Tierhalterinnen und Tierhaltern in emotionalen Situationen
