The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI First iOS Software Engineer based in the United States.

We are seeking an AI-driven iOS Software Engineer to help build, enhance, and scale innovative mobile experiences for a high-volume digital marketplace. In this role, you will develop customer-facing features that support buyers and sellers, contributing to intuitive, reliable, and high-performing mobile applications. You will work primarily with Swift and SwiftUI while collaborating with experienced engineers to deliver quality software and strengthen your technical expertise. AI-powered development tools will be central to your daily workflow, helping accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Working closely with product, design, backend, and Android teams, you will contribute to consistent experiences across platforms. This fully remote opportunity offers a collaborative environment where continuous learning, technical curiosity, and responsible AI adoption are encouraged.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, test, and deliver iOS features primarily using Swift and SwiftUI across buyer and seller marketplace applications.
  • Build and maintain SwiftUI views and ViewModels while working with existing UIKit components and established architectural patterns, including Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM).
  • Implement feature-flagged functionality, write unit and UI tests, and ensure code meets established quality standards and continuous integration requirements.
  • Use AI-powered development tools daily to accelerate coding, refactoring, test generation, debugging, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Critically review and validate AI-generated code and recommendations to ensure correctness, maintainability, performance, and production readiness before merging changes.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into effective mobile solutions that address customer needs.
  • Work under the guidance of senior iOS engineers to strengthen technical skills, take increasing ownership of features, and contribute to shared platform capabilities.
  • Partner with Android engineers to align product functionality and deliver consistent user experiences across mobile platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration workflows to support reliable releases and meet cross-platform quality requirements.
  • Develop familiarity with networking, authentication, feature flags, mobile analytics, and shared application infrastructure while gradually expanding technical ownership.
  • Share knowledge, incorporate feedback, and identify opportunities to improve engineering workflows, reduce repetitive tasks, and increase development efficiency.
  • At least 3 years of professional iOS development experience, or equivalent technical depth, with practical experience delivering production mobile features in a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift and hands-on experience building iOS applications using SwiftUI.
  • Experience developing and publishing at least one application through the Apple App Store.
  • Understanding of mobile application architecture, including SwiftUI views, ViewModels, MVVM or similar patterns, and fundamental networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, UI testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and software quality practices, with an interest in developing expertise in snapshot testing.
  • Active use of AI-powered development tools, such as coding copilots, AI-assisted debugging tools, and automated test generators, with the ability to critically assess and validate AI-generated outputs.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and reliable code.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with senior engineers, product managers, designers, backend developers, and Android counterparts.
  • A product-oriented mindset, technical curiosity, and a willingness to learn, adapt, and take increasing ownership of engineering responsibilities in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Experience with snapshot testing and automated mobile testing strategies.
  • Familiarity with Swift Package Manager (SPM), modular application architecture, and shared UI component libraries.
  • Previous experience developing mobile applications for digital marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, or other transactional products.
  • Interest in developing expertise in authentication, feature flags, mobile analytics, and shared platform capabilities.
  • Familiarity with hybrid mobile application experiences using WebView components.
  • Competitive compensation: Annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $125,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
  • Comprehensive healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, subject to the applicable employee benefits plan.
  • Health spending options: Employer contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options for eligible US employees.
  • Retirement savings: Immediately vested 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Paid time off: Paid vacation, personal days, and sick leave.
  • Family support: Paid maternity and paternity leave for eligible US employees.
  • Financial protection: Employer-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage for eligible US employees.
  • Employee well-being: Access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program.
  • Community engagement: An employer-paid volunteer day dedicated to supporting community initiatives.
  • Professional development: Tuition reimbursement for eligible programs and opportunities to expand technical expertise.
  • Career advancement: Opportunities for internal promotions, diverse career paths, knowledge sharing, and long-term professional growth.
  • Remote work flexibility: A full-time remote position based in the United States.
  • Innovative work environment: The opportunity to collaborate with experienced mobile engineers and contribute to large-scale marketplace applications, platform modernization, and AI-driven development initiatives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
