The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a 3D Design & Animation Expert based in Brazil.

We are seeking a skilled 3D designer, animator, or digital artist to help shape the future of artificial intelligence by developing realistic creative production tasks for advanced AI systems. In this remote, contract-based role, you will apply your expertise in 3D modeling, animation, rendering, and visual effects to create and validate professional production workflows. You will assess how effectively AI systems interpret creative briefs, manipulate 3D assets, and deliver technically accurate visual outputs. Your work will help establish reliable reference examples and objective evaluation criteria for AI-generated content. Working alongside technical contributors, you will contribute to improving the quality, precision, and consistency of AI-driven creative tools. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about digital content creation and emerging AI technologies.

Accountabilities

  • Design realistic 3D production tasks based on professional modeling, animation, rendering, and visual effects workflows.
  • Create, edit, and refine 3D models, materials, textures, lighting setups, and scene compositions.
  • Develop tasks involving mesh editing, UV mapping, rigging, animation, and digital asset preparation.
  • Define and validate technical specifications for 3D assets, including dimensions, topology, file formats, and rendering requirements.
  • Review existing project files to identify modeling errors, missing assets, broken materials, and inconsistencies within scenes.
  • Develop reference scenes and visual outputs that demonstrate accurate task completion and professional production standards.
  • Evaluate AI-generated 3D models, animation sequences, and project files for visual quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Establish objective evaluation criteria covering geometry, model structure, asset completeness, animation quality, and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical contributors to develop reproducible creative workflows and structured evaluation tasks.
  • Document production processes and provide clear explanations of creative and technical decisions.
  • A degree in 3D Animation, Digital Arts, Computer Graphics, Game Development, Design, or a related discipline, or an equivalent professional portfolio demonstrating relevant expertise.
  • Substantial professional experience in 3D modeling, animation, visual effects, or digital asset production.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one major 3D production tool, such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or Houdini.
  • Solid understanding of 3D geometry, modeling techniques, materials, texturing, lighting, and rendering workflows.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs, technical specifications, and detailed production requirements.
  • Experience working with complex project files, multiple digital assets, and structured production pipelines.
  • Strong visual judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to both artistic quality and technical detail.
  • Ability to document workflows, evaluate production outputs, and communicate technical decisions clearly.
  • Strong written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical teams in a remote environment.
  • Experience in game development, animation studios, architectural visualization, or visual effects production.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Unity, or real-time rendering workflows.
  • Experience with procedural modeling, simulation, or node-based production workflows.
  • Knowledge of Python scripting or automation techniques for creative production pipelines.
  • Familiarity with professional 3D asset formats, including USD, FBX, and glTF.
  • Previous experience evaluating AI-generated visual content or developing creative production benchmarks.
  • Competitive hourly compensation: US$30–60 per hour, depending on the engagement terms and relevant expertise.
  • Remote work: Work remotely from Brazil, subject to location eligibility and contract arrangements.
  • Part-time flexibility: Approximately 20 hours per week, allowing you to balance this project with other professional commitments.
  • Defined project duration: An initial two-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
  • Immediate start: The project is seeking candidates who are available to begin promptly.
  • Creative and technical impact: Apply your 3D design and animation expertise to the development and evaluation of advanced AI systems.
  • Professional growth: Gain experience at the intersection of digital content production, creative technology, and AI innovation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
