The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Product Manager (Infrastructure as Code) based in the United States.

This role will shape the strategy and roadmap for a critical Infrastructure as Code and Engineering as Code product within a large-scale enterprise technology ecosystem. You will translate complex infrastructure and engineering challenges into reusable, secure, and measurable product capabilities. Working across infrastructure engineering, platform teams, operations, architecture, security, and internal customers, you will guide priorities and delivery without serving as the hands-on engineering owner. The role focuses on replacing manual and inconsistent infrastructure processes with automated, tested, and supported solutions. You will use customer insights, analytics, and technical knowledge to make informed trade-offs and drive continuous product improvement. Success will be measured through increased adoption, component reuse, automation, reliability, control compliance, and simpler infrastructure experiences. This is an opportunity for an experienced product leader to influence modern cloud engineering practices across a complex, distributed enterprise environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and communicate the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for a defined Infrastructure as Code and Engineering as Code product area.
  • Align product strategy with enterprise platform objectives, security requirements, engineering priorities, and internal customer needs.
  • Translate customer and engineering problems into prioritized capabilities, epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Author, test, refine, and accept product stories across multiple Agile release cycles.
  • Lead discovery and test-and-learn initiatives with infrastructure engineers, platform teams, operations, architects, security stakeholders, and internal customers.
  • Prioritize reusable, tested, secure, and supported capabilities that reduce manual hand-offs and inconsistencies across infrastructure creation, modification, security, operations, and recovery.
  • Partner with engineering teams to evaluate and sequence solutions involving Terraform or OpenTofu, Ansible, source control, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and reusable infrastructure components.
  • Define, monitor, and improve product performance metrics such as adoption, component reuse, delivery lead time, manual intervention, policy compliance, reliability, recovery, and customer experience.
  • Use customer feedback, analytics, technical constraints, and enterprise value to make transparent product trade-offs and guide incremental releases.
  • Drive adoption among teams with different levels of engineering maturity through onboarding, documentation, demonstrations, feedback mechanisms, and ongoing product improvements.
  • Influence stakeholders across geographically distributed product, engineering, and platform teams to build alignment and accelerate outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor less-experienced product management colleagues and contribute expertise across the broader technology organization.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management, including independent ownership and execution of product strategies and roadmaps across multiple release cycles.
  • At least 2 years of experience coaching or mentoring product management colleagues and contributing product expertise across a broader technology organization.
  • Demonstrated product management experience within infrastructure, cloud, compute, platform engineering, Platform as a Service, or related technology domains.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation and modern engineering practices, with product delivery experience involving technologies such as Terraform or OpenTofu, Ansible, source control, automated testing, CI/CD, delivery pipelines, configuration management, or reusable infrastructure components.
  • Proven experience delivering products across multiple Agile release cycles, with hands-on use of Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools for backlog management, prioritization, dependencies, and delivery tracking.
  • Experience defining user stories and acceptance criteria, evaluating technical trade-offs, and collaborating with infrastructure, platform, operations, architecture, and security teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to use product metrics and analytics to prioritize improvements and measure outcomes such as adoption, reuse, lead time, automation, reliability, control compliance, and customer experience.
  • Experience managing an Infrastructure as Code, Engineering as Code, developer platform, or internal platform product within a large enterprise is preferred.
  • Experience improving developer or infrastructure customer journeys through self-service workflows, reusable modules, policy-as-code, automated controls, or platform APIs is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure lifecycle practices, including resilience, disaster recovery, observability, security, and compliance requirements, is desirable.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry is a plus.
  • Strong systems-thinking, strategic planning, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence across functions, work effectively with distributed teams, and make decisions in complex technical environments.
  • This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is generally not available for this position.
  • Annual compensation range of $120,000–$193,725, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Fully remote, work-from-home position within the United States.
  • Comprehensive technology setup, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Monthly connectivity reimbursement to help offset home internet expenses for eligible remote employees.
  • Opportunity to influence enterprise-wide Infrastructure as Code and Engineering as Code capabilities.
  • High-impact product leadership role working at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and modern engineering.
  • Exposure to large-scale platform transformation and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, architecture, operations, and security teams.
  • Opportunity to shape reusable technologies and self-service experiences that improve productivity and reliability across the organization.
  • Professional growth through strategic ownership, cross-functional influence, and mentoring opportunities.
  • Private, dedicated home workspace and reliable internet connection required for remote work.
  • Background investigation required as part of the hiring process.
  • Inclusive, equal-opportunity work environment focused on innovation, collaboration, and meaningful impact.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
