This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Corporate Communications and Brand based in the United States.
This is a senior marketing leadership role responsible for shaping corporate communications, public relations, and brand strategy. You’ll help strengthen market visibility, credibility, and thought leadership within the life sciences and SaaS landscape. The role partners closely with executive leadership, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Customer Success, and Internal Communications. You’ll own executive communications, media relations, brand governance, social media, and strategic messaging initiatives. You’ll also support major business moments, including product launches, industry events, and mergers and acquisitions. Success requires strong storytelling, strategic judgment, cross-functional influence, and the ability to turn complex ideas into clear narratives. This is a remote opportunity with significant ownership, visibility, and influence across the organization.
Accountabilities
- Lead corporate communications and public relations programs designed to increase thought leadership, brand awareness, market visibility, and credibility.
- Own press releases, thought leadership initiatives, executive visibility programs, media engagement, and relationships with external communications agencies.
- Develop executive communications, including keynote presentations, customer and industry event messaging, leadership narratives, and strategic communications.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Customer Success, and Internal Communications to amplify customer stories, product launches, industry insights, and company milestones.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives through communications planning, stakeholder messaging, and executive alignment.
- Develop and evolve the brand strategy, messaging framework, visual identity, and governance standards across internal and external touchpoints.
- Lead brand standards, templates, tools, and resources while driving consistent adoption throughout the organization.
- Manage and provide creative direction to graphic design resources and external agency partners.
- Own organic and paid social media strategy, including editorial planning, content development, campaign execution, and performance reporting.
- Partner with the broader marketing organization to improve paid advertising strategy, audience reach, brand visibility, and campaign performance.
- Use communications, brand, social, and performance insights to identify opportunities for improvement and advise senior stakeholders on messaging and positioning.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, brand marketing, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing communications, PR, and thought leadership strategies that strengthen brand awareness and market credibility.
- Proven experience leading brand strategy, messaging, and governance programs.
- Experience developing executive communications and strategic leadership messaging.
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage agencies, external vendors, budgets, and multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated use of generative AI tools such as Copilot or Claude to improve productivity, content creation, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Experience in life sciences and/or SaaS is preferred.
- Agency experience or experience managing an in-house agency is a plus.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures is advantageous.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Canva, and Figma is helpful.
- Base salary range of $153,000–$200,000, with compensation varying based on relevant experience, education, certifications, location, training, and skills.
