This role offers the opportunity to contribute to global trade compliance within an international, highly regulated environment. You will support activities that help ensure cross-border operations align with applicable trade laws, regulations, and internal requirements. Working across functions and geographies, you will help manage compliance considerations that can affect international business activities. The position requires attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements. You will contribute to processes that support compliant and efficient global operations while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys working in a global environment and wants to make an impact through strong compliance practices.
Accountabilities:
- Support global trade compliance activities and processes across international operations.
- Help ensure cross-border activities align with applicable import, export, and trade regulations.
- Review trade-related requirements and identify potential compliance considerations or risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support compliant and efficient international business processes.
- Maintain accurate trade compliance documentation and records.
- Assist with compliance reviews, inquiries, and related assessments as required.
- Monitor relevant regulatory developments and support the implementation of appropriate compliance updates.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardization of global trade compliance processes.
- Communicate trade compliance requirements and guidance clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Support a strong culture of compliance, accuracy, and accountability across global operations.
- Professional experience in global trade compliance, international trade, import/export, customs, or a related field.
- Knowledge of trade compliance principles and applicable import and export regulations.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage documentation and compliance information accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in English for communication within a global business environment.
- Experience working in a regulated or highly controlled industry is desirable.
