The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Product based in Canada.

This is a company-wide product leadership role focused on building a category-defining consumer health experience. You will own product vision and execution, working across product, design, engineering, and scientific teams. The role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on execution, customer discovery, and continuous experimentation. A major focus will be increasing engagement, retention, and subscription value as the product scales beyond its early user base. You’ll translate complex scientific and biological concepts into intuitive experiences that customers can understand and use. You will also shape an ambitious roadmap spanning AI capabilities, new hormone-monitoring applications, and B2B opportunities. This is an opportunity to join a small, multidisciplinary team where product decisions have a direct impact on the company’s direction.

Accountabilities

  • Define and own the overall product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution across the organization.
  • Develop innovative product experiences that make continuous hormone monitoring compelling and accessible to a broader consumer audience.
  • Take full ownership of product execution, establishing priorities, making trade-offs, and maintaining momentum without relying on founders for day-to-day direction.
  • Partner closely with product, design, engineering, scientific, and medical teams to translate the product vision into high-quality experiences.
  • Stay deeply connected to customers, identifying needs and translating insights into products and experiences that drive repeated engagement and long-term retention.
  • Develop strategies to improve engagement, paid retention, subscription revenue, and customer lifetime value as the business scales.
  • Turn scientific and biological concepts into clear, useful, evidence-informed consumer experiences while collaborating closely with subject-matter experts.
  • Balance near-term product improvements with a longer-term roadmap covering AI capabilities, current and future hormone applications, and B2B expansion.
  • Lead product discovery, experimentation, prioritization, and delivery while maintaining a high bar for product quality and user experience.
  • Build and develop the product function, creating the processes, standards, and operating rhythm required to scale the team effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience independently owning a consumer subscription product from vision through delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and create alignment across product, design, engineering, and other specialist functions.
  • Strong track record of inventing and launching products that customers value, with the product judgment and attention to detail required to create compelling experiences.
  • Experience scaling a product beyond early adopters and growing a meaningful customer base within a hands-on, fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect customer insights and product decisions to measurable improvements in engagement, retention, and recurring revenue.
  • Strong product strategy, prioritization, decision-making, and execution skills, with the ability to make difficult trade-offs independently.
  • Ability to understand scientific or biological concepts and translate them into intuitive consumer products while respecting evidence and scientific constraints.
  • Experience in consumer health, wellness, wearables, hardware-software products, or behavior-driven digital products is highly valuable.
  • Exceptional customer empathy and product intuition, combined with a strong analytical and experimental mindset.
  • High ownership, initiative, adaptability, and comfort operating in an ambiguous, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when aligning technical, scientific, and creative stakeholders.
  • Candidates who do not meet every listed requirement but bring the right mindset, character, and relevant product leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Remote work flexibility across Canada, with a strong preference for candidates who can regularly visit Montreal for in-person collaboration.
  • Significant ownership over product vision, strategy, and execution.
  • Opportunity to help create a new category at the intersection of science, technology, and consumer health.
  • Direct collaboration with product, engineering, design, scientific, and medical specialists.
  • Opportunity to influence company strategy and trajectory within a small team of fewer than 25 people.
  • Mission-driven environment focused on improving lifelong health.
  • Health insurance covering medical, dental, vision, and additional healthcare needs.
  • Four weeks of vacation.
  • Unlimited free Bota Bota spa access for employees and one guest.
  • Opportunity to work alongside experienced builders and former founders on ambitious, high-impact problems.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
