This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Insurance Verification Success Consultant based in the United States.
This remote role supports dental practices by ensuring patients’ insurance benefits are accurately verified before their appointments. You’ll review coverage details, confirm eligibility and benefit information, and document findings in practice management systems. The position combines healthcare administration, customer communication, and meticulous data entry in a fully remote environment. It offers a flexible starting point for professionals with dental insurance verification experience who want to build their expertise. High performers may have opportunities to qualify for additional specialties and expand their earning potential. All positions begin part-time, with the possibility of progressing to full-time based on performance and business needs.
Accountabilities
- Complete insurance verifications accurately and at least two business days before scheduled patient appointments.
- Review and confirm insurance information within clients’ practice management systems, ensuring data is complete and current.
- Enter coverage percentages, annual maximums, deductibles, remaining balances, and other relevant benefit details accurately.
- Attach detailed insurance breakdowns to the appropriate patient records, images, Doc Center, or SmartDocs areas.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with insurance carriers, dental practices, and internal team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation while consistently meeting turnaround times, quality expectations, and office-specific requirements.
- Work independently across assigned dental practices while managing priorities and maintaining reliable communication.
- Contribute to continued professional development and pursue opportunities to qualify for additional specialties as experience and performance grow.
- At least 1 year of recent dental insurance verification experience within the past 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance terminology and benefits, including coverage percentages, deductibles, annual maximums, remaining benefits, and limitations.
- Hands-on experience using dental practice management software to document and manage insurance information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace and working with web-based systems and digital documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Availability during some daytime hours Monday through Friday is required for office responsibilities, meetings, and communication with insurance carriers; schedules may vary by assigned practice.
- Ability to maintain a dedicated home workspace equipped with a printer, reliable high-speed internet, and a computer meeting applicable hardware and software requirements.
- Must reside in the United States and be located in an eligible state for employment.
- 100% remote work environment with flexible scheduling, while maintaining required daytime availability.
- All positions begin part-time, with the potential to transition to full-time, often within approximately six months, based on performance and business needs.
- Commission-based earning opportunity, with potential to earn approximately $25,000–$50,000+ annually once full-time status is achieved.
- Hourly pay at the applicable state minimum wage is provided as an advance toward commissions.
