This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Consultant based in the United States.

As a Lead Consultant, you will help organizations optimize their workflows and achieve better business outcomes through effective use of Atlassian tools. You will work directly with multiple clients, providing hands-on technical support, implementation assistance, and strategic guidance tailored to their business needs. This remote position offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships while solving complex technical challenges and improving service delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams across consulting, sales, and service operations to develop solutions that enhance client satisfaction. Beyond day-to-day support, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help clients maximize the long-term value of their Atlassian environments. The role also offers opportunities to strengthen your technical expertise through professional certifications and share your knowledge through thought leadership content. Accountabilities

  • Administer Atlassian products and support clients with implementation, configuration, and optimization to align tools with their business processes.
  • Provide scheduled on-call support outside standard business hours and respond promptly to service outages to meet contractual service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, client services, and operational efficiency, contributing to the development and delivery of effective solutions.
  • Obtain and maintain Atlassian certifications by passing two Atlassian Certified Professional exams and earning additional Atlassian Pro Skills badges.
  • Support the sales function by contributing to proposals, contract renewals, and quarterly client business reviews.
  • Create informative and engaging content about the Atlassian ecosystem, including quarterly blog posts, white papers, and other marketing materials as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues, ensuring expectations are managed effectively and client needs remain a priority.
  • Deliver high-quality service while meeting or exceeding individual performance goals and contributing to overall team success.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a client service, technical support, or help desk role. Previous experience as a Jira administrator is preferred.
  • Technical expertise: Ability to administer Atlassian products, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide practical guidance on implementation, configuration, and long-term platform use.
  • Client management: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients, competing priorities, and technical issues simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop complete, effective solutions that address client needs.
  • Consulting skills: Confidence advising clients on best practices, guidelines, and recommendations to improve their use of Atlassian tools and processes.
  • Collaboration: A team-oriented mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to share ideas, incorporate feedback, and contribute to collective improvement.
  • Self-management: A proactive, independent approach to work, with the ability to manage expectations, deliver against established performance metrics, and remain accountable for results.
  • Professional development: Willingness to obtain and maintain relevant Atlassian certifications and continuously expand technical knowledge.
  • Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States and willing to complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Competitive compensation: Annual on-target earnings (OTE) of $80,000–$95,000, including base salary, bonus, and other incentives.
