You will guide complex sales cycles from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and contract closure, helping institutions strengthen their network security capabilities. Working closely with internal teams, you will develop tailored proposals, respond to competitive bids, and deliver solutions aligned with customer needs. Success in this position requires strong commercial judgment, executive-level communication, and a proven ability to close high-value enterprise deals. This is a full-time remote opportunity for an experienced account manager who thrives in a competitive, relationship-driven cybersecurity sales environment.

Accountabilities

  • Strategic account management: Develop and execute account strategies for higher education customers across North Florida, building long-term relationships and identifying opportunities for enterprise-wide cybersecurity deployments.
  • New business development: Lead new business pitches, identify prospective customers, and expand market presence across the assigned State, Local, and Education (SLED) territory.
  • Account growth and retention: Onboard new higher education clients while proactively developing existing accounts to increase adoption of network security products and services.
  • Sales pipeline management: Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, track deal progress, and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Complex sales execution: Manage enterprise sales opportunities throughout the sales cycle, negotiate commercial terms, and drive deals toward successful closure while working to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Proposal and bid coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare contract bids, proposals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Customer engagement: Present solutions and business value propositions to senior decision-makers, tailoring communications to customer priorities and organizational needs.
  • Territory coverage: Travel throughout the assigned territory as needed to meet customers, support sales opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with higher education accounts.
  • Industry sales experience: At least 8 years of experience selling into North Florida State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts, with a strong focus on higher education institutions.
  • Cybersecurity expertise: At least 2 years of experience selling enterprise network security products and services.
  • Enterprise sales performance: Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles, closing large enterprise deals, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Account development: Proven ability to establish customer relationships, develop strategic account plans, generate new business, and expand existing enterprise accounts.
  • Executive communication: Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, including the ability to engage effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Written and verbal communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling proposals and clearly articulate the business value of technical solutions.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to coordinate bids, proposals, and customer solutions.
  • Relationship-building and cultural fluency: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credibility with diverse customers and stakeholders.
  • Travel flexibility: Willingness to travel throughout North Florida to support customer relationships and business needs.
  • Work arrangement: Full-time remote position, with territory coverage focused on higher education accounts in North Florida.
  • Competitive total rewards: A competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support overall health and financial well-being.
  • Supportive work environment: An inclusive workplace that encourages applications from candidates of all backgrounds and identities.
  • Career development: Opportunity to build a rewarding career in enterprise cybersecurity sales within a rapidly growing business.
  • Industry impact: Work with security solutions designed to help organizations protect their networks, devices, data, applications, and digital infrastructure.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
