This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Media Operations Associate - Evenings & Weekends based in Canada.
This role supports the reliable delivery and quality of sports media content across digital platforms. You’ll help ensure scores, statistics, odds, news, and other time-sensitive information are accurate and available to users. The position combines media operations, quality assurance, customer support, and real-time issue monitoring. You’ll work closely with internal teams and respond quickly when operational or product issues arise. Your attention to detail will directly contribute to a consistent and dependable user experience. The role suits someone who follows sports closely, is comfortable with technology, and enjoys a fast-paced environment. Because coverage is continuous, the position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Accountabilities
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy and timely delivery of scores, statistics, odds, news, and other sports information across leagues, tournaments, and platforms.
- Monitor application alerts and functionality, identifying issues that could affect content quality or the user experience.
- Recognize, investigate, and escalate urgent operational or product issues to the appropriate teams.
- Support users by responding to feedback, questions, and difficulties related to digital products and services.
- Perform quality assurance for new sports leagues, features, and functionality before and during deployment.
- Complete operational data-entry activities, including updating sports television listings, MMA results, and other relevant information.
- Follow established processes and quality standards while contributing to additional operational activities as required.
- Post-secondary education completed or close to completion.
- Previous customer service experience, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Extensive knowledge of sports, particularly the four major professional sports leagues.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in fast-moving, time-sensitive information.
- Comfortable using computers and multiple digital tools and applications.
- Regular experience using both iPhone and Android devices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment and respond appropriately to urgent issues.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
