The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Member of Technical Staff based in India.

Role Overview

As a Member of Technical Staff, you will build and scale an AI-powered healthcare platform that helps clinicians manage and grow their practices more efficiently. You will take ownership of features from initial problem discovery and technical design through development, deployment, and production monitoring. Working closely with clinicians and operations teams, you will develop AI agents and automated workflows that streamline essential healthcare processes, including insurance verification, patient intake, claims, and clinical documentation. You will contribute across the full technology stack, from frontend experiences and backend services to cloud infrastructure and AI integrations. In a collaborative, distributed engineering environment, you will use modern AI coding agents to accelerate development while maintaining high standards for code quality, security, and reliability. This is an opportunity to solve meaningful real-world problems, shape product direction, and help transform healthcare operations through practical AI innovation.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and automated workflows for healthcare operations, including insurance benefits verification, prior authorizations, patient intake, claims processing, and clinical documentation.
  • Build and maintain full-stack features for clinicians, patients, families, and internal operations teams across web and mobile applications.
  • Take ambiguous business and operational challenges from concept to implementation by collaborating with clinicians and operators to define requirements, write technical specifications, and deliver effective initial solutions.
  • Architect and implement backend services, APIs, data models, and infrastructure-as-code solutions that support reliable, scalable product functionality.
  • Own services throughout their lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and incident response.
  • Develop evaluation frameworks for AI-powered features, measure workflow performance, and continuously improve the reliability, accuracy, and effectiveness of model-driven systems.
  • Handle protected health information (PHI) responsibly by implementing least-privilege access controls, preventing sensitive information from appearing in logs, and maintaining auditable system changes.
  • Build and improve internal AI-assisted engineering tools, including coding-agent skills, plugins, Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, and automated code-review bots.
  • Work across an established, multi-layered technology stack, contributing to frontend applications, backend systems, databases, cloud infrastructure, and AI orchestration.
  • Collaborate with a distributed engineering team through clear specifications, code reviews, pull requests, and written technical documentation.
  • Use AI coding agents as part of daily development workflows, managing parallel tasks, configuring project-specific tools, and carefully reviewing generated code before integration.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, product decisions, and technical improvements that support the platform's long-term scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience building, deploying, and maintaining production software.
  • Demonstrated ability to own products or features end to end, from identifying an unclear problem to delivering a reliable solution that real users depend on.
  • Strong full-stack development skills in Python and TypeScript, with practical experience across frontend development, backend services, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Comfort working in a large, established codebase and navigating existing systems while delivering new functionality.
  • Hands-on experience building applications with large language models (LLMs), including tool use, agent orchestration, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with agent development frameworks such as LangGraph, an agent SDK, or comparable technologies.
  • Daily practical experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, including configuring project instructions, skills, MCP servers, hooks, and subagents; coordinating parallel tasks; and critically reviewing generated code.
  • Strong product judgment and the ability to make effective user interface decisions independently, using an existing component library when dedicated design support is unavailable.
  • High ownership and initiative, with the ability to investigate problems independently, find relevant context, overcome blockers, and seek clarification when necessary.
  • Clear written communication skills, particularly when documenting technical decisions, writing specifications, reviewing pull requests, and collaborating across time zones.
  • A solid understanding of software quality, maintainability, security, and production reliability.
  • Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry, including familiarity with HIPAA, insurance payer processes, claims workflows, electronic health records (EHRs), or HL7/FHIR integrations.
  • Experience with Temporal or another durable workflow orchestration engine.
  • Experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
  • Practical experience running LLM evaluations, safety checks, and model-output validation in production environments.
  • Experience building custom agent harnesses, MCP servers, plugins, or other extensions for AI coding tools.
  • Contributions to open-source projects, side projects, or internal tools used by other developers or teams.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, gRPC, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
  • Remote work flexibility: Work remotely from India, with a distributed engineering team collaborating across multiple time zones.
  • Meaningful impact: Help improve healthcare operations by building technology that enables clinicians and healthcare teams to work more efficiently.
  • End-to-end ownership: Take responsibility for features from initial concept through production deployment, with opportunities to influence product and technical decisions.
  • AI-first engineering environment: Work daily with modern AI models, coding agents, agent orchestration tools, and automated development workflows.
  • Broad technical exposure: Contribute across frontend, backend, mobile, data, infrastructure, and AI systems using a modern technology stack.
  • Professional growth: Develop your expertise in AI engineering, healthcare technology, production systems, and full-stack software development.
  • Collaborative team culture: Work directly with clinicians, operations professionals, and engineers in a flat team structure that encourages autonomy and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Opportunity to shape new products: Solve open-ended problems, build new capabilities from the ground up, and help establish engineering practices as the platform evolves.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
