Accountabilities

  • Support cybersecurity compliance activities across Oracle applications, databases, operating systems, middleware, infrastructure, and supporting tools.
  • Research, configure, and implement security controls in accordance with Department of Defense requirements, applicable technical standards, and established Agile processes.
  • Review technical design specifications, vendor documentation, and system architecture to assess existing security capabilities and identify appropriate remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with government product owners, subject matter experts, and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, evaluate change requests, and develop effective security solutions.
  • Apply security hardening measures and remediation activities to Oracle products, including operating systems, applications, databases, and technology stacks.
  • Review and optimize application code, system configurations, and related technical components to improve security, performance, and operational reliability.
  • Work with Oracle and other vendors to investigate technical issues, manage service requests, and resolve cybersecurity-related concerns.
  • Support release testing and deployment activities by developing testing plans, validating security controls, and preparing detailed implementation, migration, and rollback instructions.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including design specifications, alternative solution assessments, deployment procedures, and project deliverables.
  • Lead technical discussions and coordinate analysis, design, and development activities with product owners and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed accurately, professionally, and on schedule while adapting to evolving technical requirements and business priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least three years of cybersecurity experience focused on Oracle platforms, including security controls, compliance, and remediation.
  • Hands-on experience working in Oracle Linux environments, including shell scripting and system administration tasks relevant to security.
  • Demonstrated ability to harden Oracle applications, databases, operating systems, middleware, technology stacks, and supporting tools in accordance with Department of Defense security requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, code review methodologies, vulnerability remediation, and technical security control implementation.
  • Familiarity with relevant security frameworks and standards, including NIST SP 800-53, Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides (DISA STIGs), and Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to pass a T3 background investigation.
  • Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to develop clear design specifications, security documentation, testing plans, and deployment instructions.
  • Excellent verbal communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to collaborate effectively with government stakeholders, vendors, and multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business processes, security requirements, technologies, and project environments while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability.
  • Experience working with U.S. Marine Corps or Department of Defense cybersecurity processes is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative software delivery practices is preferred.
  • Experience implementing STIGs and cybersecurity controls across Oracle applications, particularly Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x and Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c or later, is an advantage.
  • Competitive annual salary: Proposed national salary range of $75,200–$158,100 USD, depending on location, relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and applicable government contract requirements.
  • Remote work flexibility: Work remotely from an eligible location within the United States.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
