The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Patient Marketing Manager based in the United States.

Help make compassionate, personalized cancer care accessible to more patients through thoughtful, results-driven marketing. As Patient Marketing Manager, you will lead the day-to-day execution of multichannel campaigns that educate prospective patients, build trust, and drive enrollment. You’ll turn complex healthcare messaging into clear, engaging content tailored to patients and providers across email, SMS, print, direct mail, and digital channels. Working closely with enrollment, clinical, and operational teams, you’ll equip frontline staff with the communications they need to connect with prospective patients. Through testing, analytics, and creative problem-solving, you’ll continually improve campaign performance and the patient journey. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a hands-on marketer who combines strong writing skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to improving the cancer care experience.

Accountabilities

  • Patient acquisition and engagement strategy: Develop and contribute fresh ideas for reaching prospective patients, explaining available care services, improving engagement, and increasing enrollment.
  • Multichannel campaign execution: Build and deploy coordinated campaigns across email, SMS, brochures, print collateral, direct mail, digital channels, and out-of-home placements where appropriate.
  • Content development and copywriting: Independently write compelling, on-brand patient- and provider-facing materials, including emails, text messages, landing pages, brochures, scripts, and other enrollment collateral.
  • Enrollment team enablement: Partner closely with enrollment colleagues to provide effective messaging, campaign materials, and resources that support their daily outreach and help convert prospective patients into enrolled members.
  • Campaign planning and operations: Own the patient marketing calendar and coordinate the scheduling, production, and deployment of communications across channels and platforms.
  • Marketing technology and personalization: Use marketing automation platforms and CRM tools to build targeted, segmented, personalized communications, ensuring messages reach the right audiences at the right time.
  • Testing and performance optimization: Design and run A/B tests, analyze campaign performance, monitor engagement and conversion metrics, and apply findings to improve enrollment outcomes.
  • Patient journey insights: Use data to tailor messaging to different stages of the prospective patient journey and identify opportunities to improve the overall enrollment experience.
  • Compliance and quality assurance: Ensure patient communications follow applicable consent and healthcare communication requirements, including HIPAA, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM, in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Process development and delivery: Establish repeatable workflows for producing and launching campaigns, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4–7 years of progressive marketing experience, including required business-to-consumer (B2C) or direct-to-consumer marketing experience. Experience in digital health, healthcare, wellness, or consumer subscriptions is preferred.
  • Strong independent writing skills, demonstrated through a portfolio of relevant work such as emails, SMS campaigns, landing pages, brochures, scripts, or other marketing content.
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying lifecycle campaigns through marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or HubSpot, including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.
  • Experience planning and executing multichannel campaigns across email, SMS, direct mail, print, and digital channels, with demonstrated attention to acquisition and conversion metrics.
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, and the ability to interpret campaign performance data to identify opportunities for testing and optimization.
  • Familiarity with healthcare communication, privacy, and consent requirements, including HIPAA, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM, or the judgment and willingness to learn these requirements and work effectively with compliance partners.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, and deliver campaigns on schedule.
  • Experience using AI tools, including large language models, for content generation, marketing workflows, or data analysis.
  • A creative, proactive, and execution-oriented approach, with the confidence to contribute strategic ideas, test new approaches, and own projects from planning through launch.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with marketing, enrollment, clinical, and operations teams in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
  • A genuine interest in improving healthcare and the patient experience. Previous experience in patient marketing, healthcare, or other regulated industries is an advantage.
  • Basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
  • Annual compensation: Expected salary range of $115,000–$140,000, depending on location and experience.
  • Fully remote work: The position can be performed remotely within the United States.
  • Mission-driven work: An opportunity to contribute to improving cancer care by helping more patients discover and access personalized support.
  • Benefits information: Additional details regarding healthcare coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and other employee benefits were not specified in the job description.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
