The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Power Platform Developer, Mid based in United States.

This role offers an opportunity to build modern digital solutions that support federal programs and improve how mission-critical data is collected, managed, monitored, and reported. You will develop Microsoft Power Platform solutions across applications, automation, analytics, and secure external-facing experiences. Working closely with senior developers, architects, product owners, business analysts, and federal stakeholders, you will turn defined requirements into scalable and user-centered solutions. Your work will contribute to workflow automation, data quality, reporting, transparency, and operational decision-making. The position is well suited to a hands-on developer who can work independently while collaborating effectively within an Agile delivery environment. You will also help establish consistent development practices while working within federal security, privacy, accessibility, and governance requirements.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, test, deploy, and enhance Microsoft Power Platform solutions supporting federal programs and business operations.
  • Build and customize Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Dataverse based on approved requirements and solution designs.
  • Configure Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, forms, views, business process flows, and data-quality controls.
  • Develop and maintain secure external-facing experiences using Microsoft Power Pages.
  • Create and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations for executive and operational users.
  • Build Power Automate cloud flows supporting submissions, document routing, notifications, approvals, compliance activities, and other business processes.
  • Support integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure services, REST APIs, and approved external systems.
  • Follow application lifecycle management practices covering source control, solution packaging, environment variables, connection references, and deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, senior developers, and users to translate business needs into maintainable technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, peer reviews, demonstrations, testing, and release activities.
  • Troubleshoot defects, improve application and reporting performance, and provide production support while escalating complex issues appropriately.
  • Create and maintain configuration documentation, technical procedures, release notes, and knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Apply federal security, privacy, records-management, accessibility, and governance requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Contribute reusable components, share technical knowledge, and support consistent Power Platform development practices.
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing or supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
  • At least 2 years of experience building Model-Driven Apps and configuring solutions using Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Hands-on experience developing or supporting Microsoft Power Pages sites.
  • At least 2 years of experience creating Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, or visualizations.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate cloud flows and business process automation.
  • Working knowledge of integrating Power Platform solutions with REST APIs, Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint Online, and external systems.
  • Experience using solutions, environment variables, connection references, source control, and deployment processes within a team environment.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in regulated or process-driven environments; federal or public-sector experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Entra ID, role-based security, Power Platform ALM and governance, Git-based source control, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for client-side extensions.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, custom connectors, and integration troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Power Platform Fundamentals, Azure, Security+, Scrum, Agile, or SAFe certifications are desirable.
  • Experience supporting federal civilian agencies or developing compliance, permitting, case-management, grants, contract-management, records-management, or submission-tracking solutions is preferred.
  • Experience designing secure customer, vendor, or partner portals using Power Pages, including authentication, web roles, table permissions, Liquid, JavaScript, and portal security patterns, is advantageous.
  • Experience with complex Dataverse security models, auditing, duplicate detection, data migration, and integrations is a plus.
  • Experience with DAX, Power Query, row-level security, deployment pipelines, and Power BI performance optimization is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Application Insights, Microsoft federal cloud environments, GCC, or FedRAMP-aligned controls is advantageous.
  • Foundational knowledge of Power Apps Code Apps and pro-code development workflows is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility, federal records-management expectations, and secure software development practices is preferred.
  • Experience using C#/.NET for Dataverse plug-ins or custom integration services is a plus.
  • Ability to meet applicable federal clearance requirements and background-investigation requirements where required.
  • Salary range of $100,000–$125,000.
  • Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, education, training, industry experience, and applicable clearance requirements.
  • Opportunity to work on impactful technology projects supporting federal government programs.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, business intelligence, cloud services, and modern application development.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with senior developers, architects, business stakeholders, and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
  • Professional environment focused on modernizing business operations and delivering secure, scalable solutions.
  • Opportunities to contribute reusable technical components, development standards, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Benefits package available as part of the overall employment offering.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
