The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Programming & Editorial Manager based in the United States.

We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on editorial leader to drive content programming across a growing portfolio of digital channels in the rapidly evolving AI and infrastructure space. You’ll turn complex technical ideas, customer insights, and engineering expertise into compelling stories that educate audiences, build engagement, and support broader marketing goals. From editorial planning and writer management to multichannel production and performance analysis, you’ll oversee the content lifecycle from idea to publication and beyond. Working closely with social, web, video, search, communications, and creative teams, you’ll ensure content feels connected, consistent, and valuable across every touchpoint. You’ll also help evolve AI-enabled workflows that make content production more efficient without compromising editorial quality. This is an opportunity to shape a high-impact content engine in a collaborative, innovative, and fast-moving technology environment.

Accountabilities

  • Own editorial programming: Lead the planning, development, production, and publication of content across owned digital channels, including the website, YouTube, LinkedIn, newsletters, podcasts, and relevant online communities.
  • Develop compelling technical stories: Identify strong angles from engineering expertise, customer experiences, research, and industry trends, translating complex topics such as AI inference, GPU infrastructure, memory architecture, and token economics into accurate, accessible, and engaging content.
  • Manage the editorial calendar: Maintain the central publishing calendar, coordinate stakeholders and deadlines, clarify ownership, identify potential delays early, and ensure a consistent publishing rhythm.
  • Lead multiformat content production: Repurpose high-performing ideas into articles, video clips, newsletter features, resource pages, podcast content, and other formats to extend their reach and long-term value.
  • Coordinate cross-functional programming: Partner with social and video leads, web teams, search specialists, customer advocacy, communications, and creative teams to deliver connected content experiences that support broader campaign priorities.
  • Maintain editorial quality: Ensure published content is accurate, engaging, technically sound, and aligned with established brand and editorial standards. Prepare work for review efficiently and incorporate feedback while preserving editorial integrity.
  • Optimize content discoverability: Apply SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) principles, including content structure, metadata, internal linking, freshness, and organization, to improve search visibility and increase the likelihood of accurate citations by large language models.
  • Use AI to improve production: Integrate AI tools into research, drafting, editing, content packaging, and workflow management. Refine repeatable production processes and provide feedback that helps improve the team's AI-enabled editorial systems.
  • Measure performance and guide decisions: Monitor publishing velocity, content freshness, engagement, organic traffic, LLM-referred traffic, and citations. Use performance insights to prioritize successful formats, refresh existing material, and retire content that no longer delivers value.
  • Manage and develop writers: Oversee contract writers, create clear briefs, provide constructive feedback, uphold quality standards, recognize strong work, and expand the freelance talent pool as content needs grow.
  • Improve operational consistency: Build reliable editorial processes that support multiple formats, stakeholders, and channels while maintaining speed, accountability, and high standards.
  • At least 6 years of experience in editorial, journalism, content strategy, or content management, including meaningful experience in B2B technology.
  • Demonstrated experience combining writing, story development, and hands-on production, including managing freelancers, contract writers, or agency resources.
  • A strong portfolio of published work that demonstrates editorial judgment, storytelling ability, and the capacity to turn complex subjects into compelling content. Experience producing newsletters, podcasts, video series, or other editorial formats is also valuable.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for editorial craft, including headlines, content packaging, episode descriptions, metadata, and the details that make content clear, engaging, and discoverable.
  • Experience managing a busy editorial calendar across multiple formats, channels, and stakeholders, with the ability to maintain momentum and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of AI, cloud computing, data infrastructure, or related technical subjects, with the ability to discuss complex concepts intelligently and collaborate with subject matter experts when deeper expertise is needed.
  • Regular, practical use of AI tools in editorial work, including the ability to build or refine workflows and critically assess AI-generated content for accuracy, substance, tone, and quality.
  • Understanding of SEO and generative engine optimization, including how content structure, internal linking, and metadata influence search performance and AI-generated citations.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working with designers, video producers, social teams, search specialists, technical experts, and editorial or brand reviewers.
  • Excellent editorial judgment, attention to detail, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • A proactive, accountable approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to question assumptions, adapt quickly, and improve processes in a changing environment.
  • Experience publishing content through Sanity or another headless content management system (CMS).
  • Background as a producer or editor in a newsroom, studio, publication, or branded media organization with demanding publishing schedules.
  • Experience bringing consistency and predictability to a distributed or cross-functional content operation.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled editorial workflows and systems that support brand governance and content standards.
  • Remote flexibility: U.S.-based remote position.
  • Creative ownership: Opportunity to shape editorial strategy and oversee programming across a broad portfolio of digital channels.
  • Emerging technology exposure: Work with complex, fast-developing topics across AI infrastructure, data systems, and enterprise technology.
  • AI-enabled workflows: Use modern AI tools and help improve production processes while maintaining strong editorial standards.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with specialists across digital marketing, social media, video, search, communications, customer advocacy, and creative production.
  • Professional impact: Build a content operation designed to grow audiences, strengthen engagement, and generate long-term value from high-quality stories.
  • Compensation and additional benefits: Salary, healthcare, retirement plans, paid time off, bonuses, and other specific benefits are not detailed in the provided job description.
  • Inclusive culture: Join a team that emphasizes accountability, thoughtful experimentation, collaboration, customer focus, and respectful debate.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
