This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager based in Brazil.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of strategic data and analytics initiatives, ensuring projects align with business objectives and client expectations. You will translate stakeholder priorities into actionable roadmaps, manage project scope, and coordinate milestones, dependencies, and risks across technical teams. Building strong client relationships will be central to your success, with a focus on transparent communication, reliable execution, and proactive problem-solving. You will work closely with business leaders and technical professionals to maintain delivery momentum and adapt priorities as needs evolve. This client-facing consulting role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on data strategy and analytics projects while helping establish trusted, long-term partnerships. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility while collaborating with distributed teams and international stakeholders.

Accountabilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery planning and execution for data strategy and analytics initiatives, including project scope, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, timelines, and risk management.
  • Translate business priorities and stakeholder requirements into a clearly prioritized backlog, actionable deliverables, and achievable plans for technical teams.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client leaders through clear communication, transparent reporting, proactive risk management, and consistent follow-through on commitments.
  • Facilitate Agile delivery ceremonies, including planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives, to support team alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain visibility into project progress through regular status updates, delivery reports, and clear communication with both client stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Identify blockers, cross-team dependencies, and potential delivery risks early, escalating issues with practical options and well-founded recommendations.
  • Manage project scope, stakeholder expectations, and change requests while balancing business priorities, technical constraints, and delivery objectives.
  • Represent the consulting team in client meetings, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution while identifying opportunities to strengthen and expand the engagement.
  • Coordinate distributed teams and support effective collaboration across functions, locations, and time zones to ensure consistent delivery outcomes.
  • At least five years of professional experience in technical project management, delivery management, or a closely related role.
  • Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders in client-facing environments, consulting engagements, or technology delivery teams.
  • Practical experience managing Agile delivery processes, including backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, milestone tracking, and project status reporting for technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of data and analytics concepts, such as data pipelines, reporting systems, and dashboards, with the ability to understand technical requirements, assess estimates, and support delivery planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal English proficiency, with the ability to communicate confidently and collaborate daily with international clients and distributed teams.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate risks, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proactive, accountable approach to project execution and expectation management.
  • Adaptability and a continuous learning mindset, with the ability to navigate evolving business requirements and fast-paced consulting environments.
  • Previous experience working as a consultant or as an embedded team member through a staff augmentation model.
  • Experience managing data teams, data platforms, data strategy initiatives, data governance programs, or business intelligence projects.
  • Relevant project management or Agile certifications, such as PMP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
  • Experience working in retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience coordinating project delivery across distributed teams and multiple time zones.
