We are seeking an experienced Technical Scrum Master (SAFe Agile Delivery Lead) to join our Agile team in the GPS domain. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating and coaching cross-functional teams in adopting and implementing SAFe principles, while also working with DevOps team to enable continuous integration, automated testing, and reliable release pipelines.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile & SAFe Execution: Coach Scrum teams in the GPS domain to effectively adopt SAFe principles and Agile practices, including Sprint and PI planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Enable High-Performing Teams: Empower teams to self-organise, prioritise work, and continuously improve through Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), process optimisation, automation, and waste reduction.
- Remove Impediments & Drive Delivery: Proactively identify and resolve blockers impacting team velocity, escalating critical issues to leadership when needed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment: Partner with Product Owners, development teams, Test Management, and wider stakeholders to align on ART initiatives, track progress, and ensure transparency.
- Scale Agility Across Organisations: Collaborate with fellow Scrum Masters, POs, and leaders to promote agile maturity, consistency, and a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Drive our automation effort by proposing and developing scripts.
- Manage configuration, packaging and deployments of application components based on software and documentation delivered by developers.
- Drive the onboarding of our application to common platforms (e.g. Observability Testing Framework, CI/CD platform).
- Be a driver for standardization and automation within the GPS domain and foster the engineering culture within your team.
- As part of a highly collaborative team, contribute to the future Software Solutions strategy.
Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management
- Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
YOUR PROFILE
Professional and Technical
- 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent role
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Certification in SAFe, such as SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Practitioner (SP)
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe delivery methodologies.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, DevOps principles, and modern engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery tools, particularly Jira and Confluence administration, configuration, and workflow management.
- Experience developing automation solutions within Jira and Confluence to improve delivery governance, reporting, and team productivity.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to automate reporting, generate delivery insights, improve knowledge management, and support decision-making.
- Ability to interpret technical delivery metrics and communicate risks, dependencies, and progress clearly to stakeholders.
- Understanding of the technology landscape supporting the GPS ART and ability to effectively engage engineering teams on delivery matters.
- Understanding of the technology stack required to maintain a successful and well-working environment, including:
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and systems used in the GPS ART Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Experiences of successfully delivering Software projects
- Broad understanding of the Trading flow, with a good understanding of products provided by the GPS ART, including knowledge of market data, trading platforms, and risk management systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with using Web APIs (REST, GraphQL, Websocket)
- Ability to understand and discuss technical integrations and dependencies across systems and platforms.
- Understanding of engineering metrics, application monitoring, and observability concepts to support delivery transparency and operational discussions.
- General understanding of modern cloud platforms and application delivery models to facilitate effective collaboration with engineering teams.
