We are looking for an Experienced Audit Associate to join our dynamic Financial Services Audit team and contribute to audit engagements for clients across the financial services sector. What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or a related field; part-qualified or completed ACCA is an advantage.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in financial audit, preferably within an audit firm. Experience or interest in the Financial Services sector is considered an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Romanian GAAP and IFRS.
  • Good understanding of the Romanian business environment.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and spoken English and Romanian.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, combined with a proactive attitude.
  • Motivation to continue developing professionally and build a long-term career in audit.

Your role

As an Experienced Audit Associate, you will:

  • Participate actively in Financial Services audit engagements, working closely with senior team members.
  • Perform audit procedures and prepare accurate and timely audit documentation and working papers.
  • Identify audit issues and communicate findings to senior colleagues.
  • Collaborate with team members and maintain professional relationships with client representatives throughout the audit process.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to meeting engagement deadlines and quality standards.
  • Continuously develop your technical knowledge and professional skills through practical experience, training and feedback.
