The posting

LA28 does not provide relocation assistance for any positions.

If you are based outside the Los Angeles area, we still welcome your application — we value talent from all geographic backgrounds and want to hear from you if you are able to work on-site in LA.

Role Purpose

You will build and manage the schedules that turn LA28's venue plans into delivered venues for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As Manager, Schedule, you own the Venue Integrated Schedule for your assigned venues, consolidating construction schedules from multiple functional areas, contractors, and suppliers into one reliable view. You integrate venue schedules into the overall program schedule, surface conflicts early, and give leaders clear, timely status and health reporting so every venue stays on track for Games time in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the Venue Integrated Schedule for assigned venues, consolidating construction schedules from multiple functional areas.
  • Partner with construction schedulers for VNI contractors and suppliers, and oversee and review the work of contracted schedulers.
  • Integrate venue schedules into the overall program schedule, keeping dependencies and milestones aligned across the venue portfolio.
  • Surface schedule and resource conflicts, report issues, and facilitate resolution activities with functional areas and delivery partners.
  • Prepare regular schedule status and health reports that give leadership a clear view of progress and risk.

Required Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a project scheduler, with hands-on experience on infrastructure projects or sport and events delivery.
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar project scheduling software, with familiarity with Smartsheet and SharePoint.
  • Expert knowledge of critical path, forward and backward scheduling, resource loading, dependencies, and schedule crashing techniques.
  • Adept at meeting facilitation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution across functional areas, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Proven ability to prepare clear schedule status and health reporting for senior stakeholders and program leadership.

Valued Experience

  • Bachelor's degree; or 5 years of equivalent experience in project scheduling and controls preferred.
  • Professional certifications in project scheduling.
  • Project management experience on infrastructure or event programs.
  • Experience supporting operational activity at active construction sites.

What We Offer

  • Real ownership of the schedules that decide when LA28's venues are ready.
  • Career-defining exposure across construction, overlay, and Games operations partners.
  • A collaborative program team that values accuracy, candor, and early warning.
  • A direct hand in delivering the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What This Role Means for the Games

Your schedules show every team what must happen, when, and in what order to deliver LA28's venues. Clear, reliable scheduling keeps construction on track so each venue is ready when the Olympic and Paralympic Games begin.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
  • The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
  • The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
  • Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
  • Support and verify operational activity status at construction sites during the delivery period.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
