The posting

LA28 does not provide relocation assistance for any positions. If you are based outside the Los Angeles area, we still welcome your application — we value talent from all geographic backgrounds and want to hear from you if you are able to work on-site in LA.

Role Purpose

Help LA28 turn the knowledge created for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games into material that others can use. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Games Insights, you will coordinate the daily collection, organization, and transfer of digital and physical content across functional areas. You will exercise practical judgment when priorities shift, keep contributors aligned, and make information accessible to teammates and international partners. This role combines detailed project delivery with opportunities to learn across the organization, supporting knowledge sharing before the Games and preserving learning for those who follow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day project management for collecting and organizing LA28-produced digital and physical content, maintaining progress across collection activities.
  • Coordinate content transfers to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and International Paralympic Committee (IPC), supporting agreed delivery requirements.
  • Partner across functional areas to align content collection initiatives, track project tasks, and support compliance with organizational processes.
  • Collaborate with IOC and IPC partners to coordinate knowledge transfer activities and resolve questions about content collection and delivery.
  • Create internal communications and contribute to knowledge-sharing opportunities that help teammates access information and learn across the organization.

Required Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree; or 4 years of equivalent experience in knowledge transfer, content management, or organizational learning.
  • 4+ years of experience in project and/or process management, with working knowledge of project management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across teams, complete project tasks, and support compliance with organizational processes, with superb attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communicating with varied audiences and influencing without formal authority to support cross-functional delivery.
  • Proficiency with data management and analysis, organizing information accurately and maintaining reliable records to support content collection and transfer activities.

Valued Experience

  • Experience using Smartsheet to support project and information management.
  • Experience with data collection and management, logistics, and/or warehousing.
  • Experience supporting knowledge transfer and/or organizational learning initiatives.
  • Experience working at a previous Games or multi-sport event.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, self-direction, and team-first co-creation without ego.

What We Offer

  • Contribute to the knowledge legacy of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
  • Gain cross-functional exposure through content initiatives and international knowledge-sharing relationships.
  • Develop transferable skills in project coordination, information management, and organizational learning.
  • Work with teammates who value integrity, inclusion, co-creation, and shared success.

What This Role Means for the Games

Your work will help LA28 share what it learns while preparing and delivering the Games. By keeping content organized and knowledge transfer moving, you will help teammates learn from one another and preserve practical experience for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
  • The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
  • The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
  • Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000.00- $98,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
