Physical Intelligence Lab의 연구 범위는 컴퓨터 비전 전반에 걸쳐 있습니다. 이미지·영상 인식, 객체 탐지, 멀티모달 학습, 3D 이해를 비롯해 비전검사, Document AI, Robotics 등 다양한 응용 분야로 기술을 확장하고 있습니다. 이를 통해 LG 그룹의 다양한 사업 영역에 적용 가능한 핵심 비전 기술과 서비스 기반을 마련하고, 나아가 미래 산업을 선도할 혁신적인 Application 개발에 기여하고 있습니다.

Physical Intelligence Lab의 연구원들은 “눈으로 세상을 새롭게 해석한다”는 철학 아래, 대규모 데이터와 최첨단 AI 모델을 활용해 현실의 복잡한 문제 해결에 도전합니다. 또한 글로벌 학계·산업과의 협업을 통해 최신 연구를 빠르게 흡수하고, 이를 실제 제품과 서비스로 이어가며 연구와 비즈니스의 선순환을 만들어가고 있습니다.

그중 Robotics Tech cell에서는 혁신적인 로봇 파운데이션 모델(Robot Foundation Model)을 직접 개발하고, 특히 빠르게 발전하는 VLA(Vision-Language-Action), World Model 등 최신 연구를 실제 로봇 지능으로 연결하는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 또한 실제 환경에서 동작 가능한 Physical Intelligence를 목표로, 시뮬레이션과 실제 로봇 환경을 모두 포함한 통합 평가 체계를 구축하고 있습니다.

수행 업무

  • 로봇 벤치마크 및 성능평가 관련 업무 - 로봇 벤치마크(LIBERO Plus/Pro, BEHAVIOR-1K, MolmoSpaces 등) 분석 및 확장 - Real Robot 평가 파이프라인 구축 및 실험 수행 - Simulation 기반 평가 환경 구축 (Isaac / MuJoCo 등) - 모델 성능 정량화 및 failure case 분석 - Benchmark 개선 및 신규 평가 지표 설계 - Closed-loop / Open-loop 평가 프로토콜 설계

지원자격

  • 필수사항 - 유관분야 학부 재학 및 휴학중 - 로봇 벤치마크 기반 성능 평가 경험 또는 이에 준하는 로봇 실험/분석 경험 보유 - 실제 로봇(Manipulator, Humanoid 등) 실험 경험
  • 우대사항 - Benchmark 설계 및 평가 경험 - 데이터 분석 및 실험 자동화 경험

전형절차

  • 서류심사 → 코딩테스트(온라인) & LG Way Fit Test(인성검사)→ 기술 인터뷰(비대면) → 최종 합격
