Importante empresa del sector logístico busca un Gerente de Operaciones Senior, responsable de dirigir integralmente las operaciones de transporte y distribución, garantizando su productividad, rentabilidad y continuidad.

La posición lidera la planificación y optimización de los procesos operativos, la administración de la flota, el desarrollo de la red de transportistas y la gestión de cuentas clave. Asimismo, supervisa el cumplimiento de indicadores de servicio, facturación, cobro, mantenimiento, seguridad y calidad.

Principales responsabilidades

  • Dirigir las operaciones de transporte, distribución y última milla.
  • Definir objetivos, planes tácticos e indicadores para asegurar el cumplimiento de las metas operativas y financieras.
  • Supervisar la productividad, rentabilidad y calidad del servicio de cada cuenta.
  • Desarrollar relaciones comerciales de largo plazo con clientes y presentarles periódicamente los resultados de la operación.
  • Garantizar la correcta ejecución de los procesos de facturación, entrega de soportes y cobro.
  • Dirigir la estrategia de administración de flota, incluyendo mantenimiento preventivo, correctivo y predictivo.
  • Controlar disponibilidad vehicular, tiempos de reparación, costos de mantenimiento, consumo de combustible y vida útil de los activos.
  • Administrar presupuestos, inversiones y gastos asociados con la flota y la operación.
  • Liderar la captación, afiliación, evaluación, desarrollo y fidelización de transportistas y microempresarios.
  • Negociar condiciones comerciales y contractuales con proveedores de transporte.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad vial, requisitos legales y estándares ISO 9001, ISO 22000 y BASC.
  • Liderar, evaluar y desarrollar al personal bajo su responsabilidad.

Requisitos

  • Licenciatura en Ingeniería Industrial, Logística y Transporte Multimodal o carrera afín. Requisito indispensable.
  • Maestría en Transporte, Logística, Operaciones, Cadena de Suministro o área relacionada.
  • Mínimo ocho años de experiencia en operaciones logísticas, distribución nacional, abastecimiento, transporte, última milla o cadena de suministro, preferiblemente en productos de consumo.
  • Mínimo cinco años en posiciones de liderazgo, con personal a cargo y gestión directa de transportistas.
  • Experiencia en dirección de operaciones de transporte y distribución.
  • Deseable experiencia en operadores logísticos o empresas de transporte.
  • Conocimiento de administración y mantenimiento de flota vehicular.
  • Experiencia gestionando tarifas de clientes y condiciones de pago a transportistas y proveedores tercerizados.
  • Conocimiento de procesos de captación y afiliación de transportistas.
  • Manejo de sistemas de monitoreo GPS.
  • Conocimientos de BASC, ISO 9001 e ISO 22000.
  • Manejo de Microsoft Office e indicadores operativos y financieros.
  • Liderazgo, capacidad de negociación, orientación a resultados, toma de decisiones, adaptabilidad y comunicación efectiva.
