Descripción del puesto

Buscamos un/a profesional en Medicina con experiencia en educación superior para liderar la gestión académica y administrativa del Programa de Medicina en la ciudad de Pereira. Su principal objetivo será garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares establecidos por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional y las políticas institucionales, asegurando la calidad académica, el desarrollo curricular y la mejora continua del programa.

Responsabilidades principales

  • Dirigir, organizar y controlar académicamente el Programa de Medicina.
  • Realizar la planeación de cada periodo académico, incluyendo asignación docente, horarios, aulas y seguimiento al desarrollo de las asignaturas.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de los reglamentos estudiantiles y docentes, así como de las políticas y lineamientos institucionales.
  • Liderar los procesos de renovación del registro calificado, autoevaluación, acreditación y formulación de planes de mejoramiento.
  • Realizar seguimiento a los indicadores académicos y de calidad del programa.
  • Validar los informes consolidados de los procesos evaluativos realizados por las coordinaciones académicas.
  • Coordinar y participar en la evaluación del desempeño docente, estableciendo acciones de desarrollo y mejora.
  • Liderar, acompañar y orientar al equipo docente, las coordinaciones académicas y el personal administrativo.
  • Atender situaciones académicas y personales de los estudiantes, articulando soluciones con las áreas correspondientes.
  • Promover la investigación, la calidad académica y la mejora continua.
  • Coordinar el relacionamiento con campos de práctica, instituciones del sector salud y demás aliados académicos.
  • Participar en auditorías internas y externas, gestionar los riesgos del proceso y asegurar el cumplimiento del Sistema de Gestión de la Calidad.

Requisitos

  • Profesional en Medicina con tarjeta profesional vigente con formación de posgrado (Deseable)
  • Mínimo tres años de experiencia en instituciones de educación superior.
  • Se valorará experiencia en coordinación o dirección académica de programas de Medicina o Ciencias de la Salud.
  • Competencias en liderazgo, planeación, toma de decisiones, comunicación asertiva, resolución de problemas, manejo de conflictos y orientación a la calidad.
