The posting

Our client, through Lifelinks International Resources, Inc., a DMW-accredited recruitment agency in the Philippines, is seeking qualified Trailer Truck Drivers for deployment to Lithuania. Candidates will be responsible for safely transporting goods, meeting delivery schedules, maintaining vehicle condition, and complying with road safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy-duty trailer trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
  • Load, unload, handle, and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including brakes, tires, lights, oil, and fuel.
  • Follow traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, driving logs, and trip reports.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers regarding routes, delivery schedules, delays, and other concerns.
  • Ensure cargo is delivered safely, on time, and in good condition.
  • Report vehicle defects, mechanical problems, and accidents immediately.
  • Keep the truck clean and perform basic vehicle upkeep.
  • Apply defensive driving techniques and plan routes efficiently.
  • Demonstrate responsibility, reliability, time management, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

  • At least a high school graduate.
  • At least 1-3 years of trailer truck driving experience within the last 3 years (2023 onwards).
  • Must have a valid LTO driver's license (Code CE/8), that has been held for more than 1 year at the time of application.
  • Must be proficient in English.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Basic gross salary: EUR 1,000–3,000 (PHP 70,000-210,000).
  • Salary increase based on performance.
  • Working hours: 9 hours per day.
  • Opportunity to gain international work experience in Lithuania.
