Job Description

Link Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Systems Management Engineer (ESMS Level 4 Consulting Functional Area Expert) to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ.

The Enterprise Systems Management Engineer will support the Army Department of Defense Information Network Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) program in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).

In this role, you will provide senior-level engineering, integration, and enterprise systems management expertise supporting critical Army operations worldwide. Working alongside Army stakeholders, engineers, and cybersecurity professionals, you will help modernize, optimize, and sustain enterprise management platforms that enhance network visibility, operational effectiveness, and mission readiness across the Army enterprise.

Your contributions will directly support secure, reliable, and resilient network operations while enabling mission partners to maintain situational awareness, improve service delivery, and execute mission-critical activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide planning, design, engineering, integration, sustainment, and lifecycle support for Enterprise Systems Management Services (ESMS) capabilities supporting NETCOM operations.
  • Administer and support enterprise monitoring, reporting, service management, automation, and configuration management platforms.
  • Conduct system analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and optimization across distributed Army enterprise environments.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise configuration baselines, dashboards, automation workflows, reporting solutions, and operational metrics.
  • Produce and maintain engineering diagrams, SOPs, CONOPS, RMF artifacts, technical design packages, implementation plans, reports, and configuration guidance.
  • Support Army-wide ITSM and Remedy environments, including customer onboarding, migration activities, service transitions, and operational sustainment.
  • Participate in technical exchanges, engineering reviews, governance forums, working groups, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Integrate directory services, enterprise applications, databases, system management tools, monitoring platforms, and ESMS/CMDB capabilities.
  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain Remedy AR System, Mid-Tier servers, and associated management platforms.
  • Support enterprise configuration management, automation initiatives, and modernization efforts across Army networks.
  • Collaborate with Government and contractor personnel to ensure platform availability, security compliance, performance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide technical leadership and recommendations to improve standardization, operational efficiency, security, and enterprise service delivery.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Five (5+) years of experience supporting enterprise IT operations, systems engineering, systems administration, or enterprise service management environments.
  • IAT Level III certification (CASP+/SecurityX, CISSP, CCNP Security, CISA, or equivalent) per DoD 8570/8140 requirements.
  • Experience administering Microsoft enterprise environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft System Center technologies (SCOM, MECM, Service Manager, and Orchestrator).
  • Experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems and VMware vSphere/ESXi environments.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring, reporting, systems management, and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of RMF, Zero Trust, cybersecurity best practices, and secure systems administration.
  • Experience supporting large-scale Army, DoD, or Federal enterprise environments.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, implementation plans, and configuration management artifacts.
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, and object-oriented programming concepts used for automation and systems integration.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Eight (8+) years of experience supporting enterprise IT operations.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • BMC Helix Developer or Remedy ITSM Administrator certification.
  • Computing Environment (CE) certification supporting Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience supporting NETCOM, Army Enterprise environments, or DoD modernization initiatives.
  • Experience administering BMC Helix, Remedy ITSM, CMDB, and enterprise service management solutions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise monitoring, NetOps, and automation toolsets.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications, directory services, databases, and infrastructure platforms.
  • Experience leading enterprise modernization, migration, and platform optimization initiatives.
  • Experience developing automation and orchestration solutions using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages.
  • Experience supporting cloud, hybrid-cloud, and enterprise management solutions.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems within large-scale Army, DoD, or Federal environments.
  • Self-motivated professional with the ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
