Als Forward Deployed Engineer zit jij in het hart van deze uitdaging. Je vertaalt complexe vraagstukken naar concrete opdrachten. Je denkt mee in de commercie, helpt bij het ontwikkelen van proof of concepts en weet hoe je een team kan opstellen en meekrijgen in het realiseren van bedrijfskritische oplossingen.

Wat ga je doen?

Je verkent, vraagt en ontwerpt De core value stream van de opdrachtgever begrijpen en dan verkennen wat de huidige oplossingen brengen. Patronen ontdekken die kunnen worden vertaald naar moderne oplossingen. Architectuur, adviezen en werkende prototypes maak je totdat je ziet in de ogen van senior stakeholders dat je precies goed zit.

Je werkt met moderne AI-stacks Je bouwt met LLM API’s (zoals Claude, OpenAI, Llama), vector databases en RAG-architecturen. Je ontwikkelt multi-agent workflows en integreert AI in bestaande systemen en processen.

Je vertaalt intent naar actie Je bent een partner voor developers, engineers en klanten. Je maakt complexiteit begrijpelijk, adviseert over mogelijkheden en brengt techniek terug tot slimme keuzes. Je gebruikt visuele hulpmiddelen om gesprekken mogelijk te maken en bruggen te bouwen tussen business en IT. Je bouwt zelf, zorgt dat gebouwd wordt, of een combinatie. Het draait om de oplossing realiseren.

Je bewaakt kwaliteit Een oplossing blijft ontwikkelen, je weet dat nieuwe technologie moet worden geïntegreerd. Artificial intelligence, Rust, vector databases, public cloud versus een eigen hardware stack, en nog veel meer. Je bent breed ontwikkeld en weet waar je expertise nodig hebt van anderen.

Wat jij meebrengt naar de pride

  • Je hebt ervaring met AI-gedreven applicaties (LLM’s, RAG, agents);
  • Je bent een sterke engineer (eerdere programmeertalen en kennis van deployments) en bouwt production-grade systemen.
  • Je begrijpt hoe moderne backend-architecturen en MCP/API-integraties werken. Je kent patronen zoals enterprise integration patterns en data modellering aanpak;
  • Je hebt ervaring met Public Cloud (Azure en/of AWS) en weet hoe je systemen deployt, automatiseert en schaalt (IaC, CI/CD) (certificeringen zijn een pré);
  • Je denkt in systemen: performance, kosten en betrouwbaarheid zijn voor jou standaard onderdeel van design;
  • Je bent een creatieve bouwer: je levert, iteratief en onder druk. Van werkende software tot advieswerk;
  • Je beweegt makkelijk in complexe omgevingen en maakt dingen snel concreet;
  • Je voelt je thuis in een scale-up waar verandering de norm is en werkt graag met naast de klant;
  • Je spreekt Nederlands en woont in de Randstad.
