Job description

About Longbridge Cafe Longbridge Cafe is the flagship offline brand space of Longbridge Group, bringing a unique dual-concept experience to life: a cafe by day and a bar by night. By naming our signature drinks after stock tickers and pairing real-time market data displays with high-concept spatial design, we turn investing into an immersive, everyday lifestyle. With successful flagships already thriving in Hong Kong and Singapore, we are actively expanding our global footprint.

About the Role Your job is to find the right partners in each city, manage them effectively, and ensure every store opens on time, within budget, and in full compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Build & Expand the Regional Vendor and Consultant Network

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard local design firms, General Contractors (GCs), permitting consultants, licensing agents, and specialized MEP vendors upon entering new market cities.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously update a cross-city vendor and consultant database.
  • Master local permitting pathways, liquor/catering licensing requirements, and spatial regulatory frameworks.

Multi-Site Project & External Vendor Governance

  • Lead RFP/RFQ initiatives, competitive bidding processes, contract negotiations, fee structures, and SLA alignment with external trade partners.
  • Concurrently manage multi-site external project teams across different cities, enforcing synchronized delivery schedules, streamlined communications, and strict QA/QC standards.

Drive Execution & Store Openings

  • Hold ultimate accountability for opening timelines, construction budgets, and regulatory compliance across all project locations.
  • Drive consultants through the end-to-end process of securing permits, liquor/food licenses, and government approvals—proactively mitigating risks and resolving critical issues on the spot.
  • Safeguard brand standards, ensuring external teams deliver physical spaces that meet all Longbridge Cafe spatial and design specifications.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in commercial store development, retail construction management, or project management, preferably within F&B, retail, or commercial space expansion.
  • Vendor & Network Management: Proven track record of building and managing external vendor networks (GCs, design firms, permitting agencies) across multiple cities simultaneously.
  • Regulatory Expertise: In-depth understanding of commercial interior renovation, MEP specifications, fire safety, commercial catering/F&B licensing, and local building permit procedures.
  • Project Delivery: Demonstrated history of delivering multiple retail/F&B store builds on time and within budget in multi-city expansion environments.
  • Problem-Solving & Negotiation: Strong contract negotiation skills with an exceptional ability to troubleshoot on-site challenges and resolve regulatory bottlenecks under tight deadlines.
  • Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently across target expansion cities as project demands require.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and Mandarin to manage regional cross-functional teams and local vendors effectively.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
