Senior Maintenance Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation

Help shape maintenance operations on Yggdrasil

We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer for an assignment with our partner in Stavanger.

This is an opportunity to combine technical maintenance expertise with planning and coordination, working closely with offshore and onshore teams. You will support safe and efficient maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems on Yggdrasil, while contributing to the start-up and further development of modern, digitally integrated systems.

The role

You will follow up daily maintenance activities within electrical and instrumentation disciplines, helping ensure that work is well prepared, coordinated and safely executed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Following up maintenance activities in collaboration with offshore discipline leads, technicians, management and onshore support teams.
  • Coordinating work within your discipline area.
  • Planning activities for two-week work order schedules and maintenance campaigns.
  • Providing technical input to support maintenance execution and troubleshooting.
  • Contributing to the establishment and improvement of digital systems and maintenance workflows.

Your background

You have a BSc in a relevant technical discipline, or relevant work experience that compensates for formal education. You bring maintenance engineering experience from onshore or offshore operations, together with technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation equipment.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience using SAP and relevant operational systems
  • Knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting within electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
  • An understanding of offshore HSE requirements, including technical, operational and human factors.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English.

Operational offshore experience and practical familiarity with offshore equipment and installations will be particularly valuable.

Why consider this opportunity?

The assignment offers the opportunity to contribute to Yggdrasil during an important start-up phase. You will work at the interface between engineering and operations, combining day-to-day maintenance follow-up with the development of systems and ways of working.

For someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, coordination and close collaboration with the people carrying out the work, this is an opportunity to make a practical contribution.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
