As a Commissioning Officer, you'll support the delivery of commissioning and contract management activity across a range of homelessness services and programmes. • Analyse performance information and provide management information to support service improvement, value for money and contract compliance.

  • Support commissioning projects and service development activity, including work relating to Housing Related Support (HRS), A Bed Every Night (ABEN), Rough Sleepers Accommodation Programme (RSAP) and other homelessness initiatives.

This role includes occasional travel across Manchester and, where required, outside the city to undertake contract monitoring visits, property inspections and partnership meetings.

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work to deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders, and an interest in commissioning, service improvement and delivering positive outcomes for residents.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
