We zoeken een Financial Controller die zorgt voor een betrouwbare, tijdige en volledige financiële administratie. Iemand die de cijfers niet alleen op orde houdt, maar ook analyseert, vertaalt naar heldere rapportages en de budget- en forecastprocessen ondersteunt. En die blijft kijken waar financiële processen en de interne beheersing beter kunnen.

Waar je terechtkomt

Je rapporteert aan de Directeur Finance & Operations en bent de financiële spil van het museum. Met jouw rapportages, analyses en adviezen kan het management goed onderbouwde keuzes maken in een museale, non-profit organisatie. Jouw werk is geslaagd als de rapportages tijdig en correct zijn, het management kan bouwen op betrouwbare financiële informatie, de budget- en forecastprocessen effectief verlopen, we voldoen aan wet- en regelgeving en onze financiële processen en interne beheersing continu verbeteren.

Wat je gaat doen

Dit is een brede rol waarin geen maand hetzelfde is. Van de maandafsluiting tot een businesscase en van interne controles tot het verbeteren van dashboards: jij bent betrokken bij alles wat financieel speelt in het museum, en schakelt daarbij met collega's door de hele organisatie.

Financiële rapportage

  • Je stelt de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarrapportages op
  • Je analyseert de financiële resultaten en de afwijkingen ten opzichte van budget en forecast
  • Je verzorgt de managementrapportages en KPI-overzichten
  • Je ondersteunt bij de jaarrekening en externe audits

Planning & Control

  • Je coördineert de budget- en forecastprocessen
  • Je bewaakt de financiële doelstellingen en signaleert risico's
  • Je stelt financiële analyses en businesscases op
  • Je adviseert het management over financiële prestaties en verbeterkansen

Accounting & Compliance

  • Je ziet toe op een correcte verwerking van financiële transacties
  • Je waarborgt de naleving van wet- en regelgeving, fiscale richtlijnen en interne beleidseisen
  • Je beheert en verbetert de interne controles
  • Je zorgt voor de belastingaangiften en begeleidt financiële audits

Procesverbetering

  • Je initieert en implementeert verbeteringen in de financiële processen
  • Je optimaliseert rapportages en dashboards
  • Je draagt bij aan de digitalisering en automatisering binnen Finance

Wie je bent

Je bent nauwkeurig, resultaatgericht en proactief. Je wacht niet af, maar pakt op wat beter kan en denkt in oplossingen als er een probleem opduikt. Je communiceert helder en werkt makkelijk samen met collega's door de hele organisatie. Integriteit is voor jou vanzelfsprekend: op jouw cijfers kan het museum bouwen.

  • Je hebt een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in Finance, Bedrijfseconomie, Accountancy of een vergelijkbare richting
  • Je hebt minimaal 3 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring in een financiële functie
  • Je hebt ervaring met financiële rapportages, budgettering en analyse
  • Je hebt uitstekende kennis van financiële administratie en verslaggeving
  • Je beschikt over sterke analytische vaardigheden
  • Je hebt ervaring met ERP-systemen (bij voorkeur Exact) en Excel
  • Kennis van IFRS en/of Dutch GAAP is een pre
  • Affiniteit met de culturele, museale of non-profitsector is een pre
