vacancy Financial Controller Location: Belfeld, Netherlands Are you an experienced financial professional with a background in manufacturing? Do you thrive in a role where you handle operational figures while also advising the organization and management? Do you enjoy optimizing and digitizing processes? Then you are the financial controller we are looking for! What will you do? As a financial controller, you play a key role within the organization and the finance team. You are responsible for financial accounting, oversee the financial month-end and year-end closings of the companies, and translate these into clear reports and analyses. You work closely with other departments within the organization and take on a coordinating role for your fellow financial administrative staff. You are a sparring partner for the CFO and contribute to strategic financial policy. You gain energy from engaging in discussions with the organization, challenge them, and translate their needs into financial processes. What you are good at and what you enjoy doing • Drafting and reviewing financial reports, analyses, and consolidations. • Providing data during audits, annual financial statement reviews, and ensuring proper handling of finance-related issues. • Investigating and resolving financial administrative questions. • Monitoring liquidity positions, accounts receivable and payable, and financial ratios. • Co-developing information flows within the ERP system. • Initiating and participating in (improvement) projects, focusing on the automation of financial processes. You will be part of the finance team, consisting of two financial administrative employees and the CFO, to whom you report directly.
