Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Quality Engineer to ensure manufacturing process quality, prevent defects, and drive continuous improvement across production lines. The role involves process audits, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, statistical process control, and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct process quality audits and ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
  • Monitor process defects, Process PPM, First Pass Yield (FPY), rework, and defect trends.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Support PFMEA, control plan preparation, process validation, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Verify first-piece inspection and process change controls.
  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, SMT, and Product Quality teams to resolve manufacturing defects.
  • Implement defect containment, corrective actions, mistake-proofing, and defect prevention initiatives.
  • Track CAPA closure and verify corrective action effectiveness.
  • Maintain quality documentation, audit records, and quality performance reports.

Required Skills

  • Process Quality, Manufacturing Quality, and Quality Assurance
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D Problem Solving, and CAPA
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC), PFMEA, and Control Plans
  • Process Audits, Defect Analysis, and Process Improvement
  • Process PPM, First Pass Yield (FPY), and Rework Reduction
  • MS Excel and Quality Data Analysis
  • Knowledge of MES, Traceability Systems, and SAP is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Educational Qualification

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in Process Quality or Manufacturing Quality.
  • Experience in electronics, electrical, SMT, assembly, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience in shop-floor quality control, process audits, defect analysis, and corrective actions.
