Vacature: International Sales Manager bij Van den Bos Flowerbulbs

Wil jij een internationale commerciële carrière opbouwen en klanten bezoeken van Noord- en Zuid-Amerika tot Azië en Australië? Bij Van den Bos Flowerbulbs leer je internationale sales niet uit een boek. Je gaat op pad met ervaren salesmanagers, zit aan tafel bij kwekers en handelaren en krijgt steeds meer verantwoordelijkheid voor klanten en markten.

Wat je gaat doen:

Je start naast een ervaren salesmanager die jouw buddy en leermeester wordt. Samen bezoek je klanten, leer je onze producten en internationale markten kennen en ontdek je hoe je langdurige commerciële relaties opbouwt.

Je gaat onder andere:

  • Relaties opbouwen en onderhouden met internationale kwekers en handelaren
  • Meereizen naar klanten, beurzen en evenementen over de hele wereld
  • Klanten adviseren over assortiment, rassen en productkeuzes
  • Commerciële kansen in bestaande en nieuwe markten herkennen
  • Onderhandelen en afspraken maken met klanten
  • Leren hoe internationale export, logistiek en handel in bloembollen werken
  • Steeds zelfstandiger verantwoordelijkheid nemen voor klanten en markten

Hoe snel dat gaat, hangt ook van jou af. Laat je zien dat je het aankunt? Dan krijg je bij Van den Bos de vrijheid om stappen te zetten. Binnen enkele jaren kun je zelfstandig klanten en uiteindelijk ook belangrijke accounts bedienen.

Internationaal reizen hoort nadrukkelijk bij deze functie. De ene periode ben je veel in Honselersdijk, de andere periode ben je meerdere weken onderweg.

Wat wij vragen:

  • Mbo+ of hbo werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur met een commerciële of agrarische achtergrond
  • Je bent commercieel, ondernemend en vindt het leuk om relaties op te bouwen
  • Je beheerst de Nederlandse taal in woord en geschrift (Een extra taal zoals Spaans of Chinees is mooi meegenomen)
  • Affiniteit met de agrarische sector, tuinbouw of bloembollen is een plus
  • Je bent bereid regelmatig internationaal te reizen
  • Je bent flexibel: internationaal zakendoen houdt niet altijd op om 17.00 uur
  • Je bent fulltime beschikbaar

Over Van den Bos Flowerbulbs

Van den Bos Flowerbulbs begon in 1946 als familiebedrijf in het Westland en groeide uit tot een internationale speler in bloembollen. Tegenwoordig werken we vanuit meerdere continenten en leveren we aan professionele kwekers in meer dan 60 landen.

We zijn gespecialiseerd in lelies, freesia’s en calla’s en beschikken over een assortiment van meer dan 500 rassen, waarvan veel exclusief of semi-exclusief verkrijgbaar zijn.

Ondanks die internationale schaal zijn we nog steeds nuchter en persoonlijk. Je krijgt hier de ruimte om het vak te leren van collega's die soms al tientallen jaren in de branche werken. Daarna is het aan jou om die kennis mee te nemen naar een nieuwe generatie internationale klanten.
