Job Summary

You will perform masonry and plastering tasks to prepare and finish surfaces, ensuring compliance with materials and workmanship standards while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with materials and workmanship schedules to meet project standards
  • Lay bricks or blocks accurately to build or repair structures
  • Mix and apply glues, cements, and grouts to bond materials effectively
  • Prepare cement floors, sidewalks, stairs, and curbing to ensure proper foundation and finish
  • Prepare flooring surfaces to receive floor coverings with appropriate surface treatment
  • Mix different types of raw materials to prepare plaster for application
  • Apply various plasters to interior and exterior surfaces to achieve smooth, durable finishes
  • Fix and repair previous plastering work to maintain structural integrity and appearance
  • Report any structural issues promptly to the site foreman for timely resolution
  • Remove waste and debris daily and after completing work to maintain a clean and safe site
