Job Summary

You will perform skilled masonry and plastering tasks, ensuring compliance with material and workmanship standards, preparing surfaces, applying plasters, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow material and workmanship schedules to meet project standards
  • Lay bricks or blocks accurately to build or repair structures
  • Mix and apply glues, cements, and grouts to bond materials effectively
  • Prepare cement floors, sidewalks, stairs, and curbing to ensure proper foundation and finish
  • Prepare flooring surfaces to receive floor coverings with appropriate surface treatment
  • Prepare and mix various raw materials to produce plaster suitable for application
  • Apply different types of plaster to exterior and interior surfaces to achieve smooth, durable finishes
  • Repair and fix previous plastering work to maintain structural integrity and appearance
  • Identify and report any structural issues promptly to the site foreman for timely resolution
  • Remove waste and debris daily and after completing work to maintain a safe and clean site
