ABOUT THE ROLE
OVERVIEW
As a Business Development Representative (SDR) at Meadow, you'll play a pivotal role in creating qualified opportunities for Meadow’s Account Executives and bring in high-quality pipeline. If you're eager to make an impact and passionate about playing a key role in defining Meadow’s presence across the world's leading higher education institutions, this role is for you.
This is a full-time position reporting to Meadow's Director of Business Development.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prospect Identification and Outreach: You'll conduct research to identify potential leads and initiate outreach through various channels — including phone calls, emails, and social media — to introduce Meadow's student financial engagement solution.
- Lead Qualification: You'll assess the needs and requirements of prospects to determine their fit as potential customers.
- Engagement and Relationship Building: You'll engage with prospects to understand their pain points, educate them on our solutions, and nurture relationships to move them through the sales funnel.
- Appointment Setting: You'll schedule meetings for Meadow’s Account Executives, ensuring a seamless handover of leads. You will have a monthly quota.
- Documentation and Reporting: You'll aintain accurate records of interactions in Hubspot, track lead progress, and generate regular reports on key metrics and performance.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Meadow wants all employees to be supported in their personal and professional development, so we take a comprehensive approach to compensation and benefits. The initial annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position is expected to be $70,000-$90,000 (OTE = 60% Base Salary + 40% Commission), with the opportunity to exceed OTE through strong performance in the role. This range represents the low and high end for a position based in San Francisco, CA. Actual compensation will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
