The posting

Meta is seeking a results-driven Director to lead the Partnerships team for one of Meta's most strategic partners — a global OS and platform provider whose decisions directly shape how billions of people access Meta's Family of Apps and AI products. This team owns the relationship end to end and is the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, from working teams through executive leadership.

You will set the partnership strategy, lead the highest-stakes commercial and policy negotiations, and personally drive the most complex initiatives to resolution. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strategic judgment, commercial acumen, operational rigor, and executive relationship management. You will lead a team of business development and partner managers working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Policy, Finance, and Communications to anticipate emerging issues and unlock partnership growth.

Responsibilities

  • Set and drive Meta's company-level strategy for a top OS/platform provider across key product pillars, leading long-term product, policy, legal, and marketing initiatives that span Meta properties
  • Lead the negotiation, structuring, and execution of high-stakes commercial and platform agreements, and manage the deal lifecycle from framing through execution and ongoing performance
  • Identify and drive new business development opportunities across the partnership, including new product integrations, distribution, and go-to-market expansion
  • Drive complex partnership initiatives to resolution, balancing near-term issue management against long-term strategic positioning
  • Serve as a senior Meta representative to the partner's executive leadership, maintaining direct, trust-based relationships and acting as the escalation point for critical issues
  • Represent Meta in internal and external executive meetings, and own executive governance and joint planning with partner leadership
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Marketing, and Finance so that Meta shows up as one team with a consistent strategy and aligned execution
  • Provide real-time intelligence on the partner's strategic priorities, competitive dynamics, and industry trends to inform Meta's product and partnership roadmap
  • Lead, develop, and scale a team of business development and partner managers with significant surface area coverage across our portfolio, including our Family of Apps and AI
  • Promote strategic rigor, accountability, and partnership excellence across the team, and develop team capability in deal execution and partner management
  • Define how partnership success is measured, giving senior leadership clear visibility into partnership health, deal progress, and business impact

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA or BS Degree in a relevant field
  • 15+ years of work experience in product/platform, partnership, or technical roles in consumer technology companies
  • 5+ years of partner management experience
  • Experience in people management, including building, leading, and developing partnership or business development teams
  • Experience defining, developing, and driving large programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Experience building collaborative working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Meta
  • Experience negotiating and executing complex, multi-stakeholder commercial or platform agreements
  • Exceptional executive communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt depth and framing for technical, business, legal, and executive audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on OS, platform, app store, or device-level partnerships
  • Experience with AI products and the partnership dynamics of an emerging product category
  • MBA, JD, or Master's Degree
  • Strong product sense and understanding of product and technical matters
  • Experience operating in highly ambiguous, high-visibility environments where partnerships are critical to product strategy
  • Understanding of Meta's strategic and competitive position vis-a-vis other tech leaders
  • Experience representing an organization credibly in executive-level meetings and forums with external partners

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
