The posting

At Meta Reality Labs, we build tools that help people feel connected anytime, anywhere. We’re on a mission to build the next computing platform by putting people at the center of emerging hardware and software technologies, whether on the go with wearables and augmented reality, in the home or at work, or fully immersed in alternate virtual reality worlds.

The Meta Reality Labs Commercial team focuses on driving growth across our portfolio of Wearables and VR devices to achieve this mission.

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Planning & Insights Manager to optimize how we market our Wearables products. This person will be responsible for tracking industry trends, influencing our marketing strategy, ensuring our investments have strong business cases, and facilitating cross-functional leadership decisions. Experience developing marketing strategies informed by data, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and communicating recommendations to leadership in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research for the Wearables marketing landscape – identify industry trends, competitor positioning, messaging, and channel strategies
  • Assess and optimize our overall marketing strategy to ensure our budget and resource allocations are focused on the right set of tactics and growth levers
  • Design and implement scalable processes, frameworks, and analytical tools that enable data-driven marketing decisions across the organization
  • Partner with Brand, Product Marketing, and Finance to shape the marketing strategy
  • Synthesize insights into clear strategic recommendations for leadership

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience with marketing strategy or brand marketing of consumer products
  • Familiarity with marketing measurement, attribution, and media mix modeling
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating return on investment for investments
  • Track record of building cross-functional partnerships to shape marketing strategies
  • Experience in analyzing complex, long-term, critical problems and driving solutions for them
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to create execution plans where none existed
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related discipline)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • MS/MBA degree in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience and/or domain knowledge in AI, augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, mobile devices, and/or hardware and software platforms
  • Experience bringing new consumer technology products to market
  • Experience owning and overseeing multiple portfolio areas and marketing strategies
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
