In unserem Engineering-Team untersuchst du, wie Satellitenverbindungen und terrestrische Mobilfunknetze künftig zusammenarbeiten und gemeinsam betrieben werden können. Im Bereich Telco Solutions von MicroNova entwickeln wir Software für die Verwaltung und Automatisierung komplexer Telekommunikationsnetze.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Netzarchitekturen und Protokolle: Du untersuchst Konzepte der Satellitenkommunikation (SatCom) und ihr Zusammenspiel mit terrestrischen Mobilfunknetzen. Dabei beschäftigst du dich mit Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) im 3GPP-Umfeld für 5G und perspektivisch 6G.
  • Netzmanagement und Automatisierung: Gemeinsam mit dem Team vergleichst du Ansätze zur Verwaltung und Steuerung beider Netzarten und untersuchst, wie sich Betriebsabläufe automatisieren lassen.
  • Programmierung und Simulation: Du unterstützt die Umsetzung technischer Konzepte in Prototypen, Simulationen oder Demos und wertest die Ergebnisse aus.
  • Datenanalyse und KI: Du erkundest, wie datenbasierte Methoden und künstliche Intelligenz den Netzbetrieb künftig unterstützen könnten.
  • Technische Dokumentation: Deine Erkenntnisse hältst du verständlich fest und stellst sie im Projektteam vor.

Dein Profil

  • Eingeschrieben in einem fortgeschrittenen Bachelorstudium oder einem Masterstudium in Nachrichten- oder Kommunikationstechnik, Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Informatik oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Fach
  • Grundlagen in Kommunikations- oder Rechnernetzen, erworben durch Lehrveranstaltungen, Praktika oder Studienprojekte – beispielsweise zu Netzarchitekturen, Netzwerkprotokollen oder Mobilfunk
  • Grundlegende Programmierkenntnisse mit erster praktischer Anwendung im Studium oder in eigenen Projekten
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse sowie gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2) in Wort und Schrift
